I Need Hobby That Doesn't Involve Computers Or Wanking...

I tried macro photography - It turns out I don't have an artistic bone in my body...

So art is out - It needs to get me outside:helpme - I can't drive so it needs to be done locally - Gardening is out - I can kill plants with a look.....

I can cook - That's a start...

j3rkules 12-02-2015 04:49 AM

Cooking is a really cool hobby, I love it.

Ferus 12-02-2015 04:57 AM

Try Cliff Jumping. That will get you the attention you so desperately seek. If you are Lucky you can break a arm/leg and start begging for sympathy here on GFY, since all your other friends are imaginary

Such a cute puppy...

Try walking while listening to Audio Books and have a tracker to count your steps. Try to do at least a few more steps each day than the last and you'll be fitter and more well read :)

This is actually very good!
Of course, you will have to take a dump after you're done with the walking... :)

Or while you are walking... Why stop? The benefit is that if you get lost, you have left a trail that you can easily follow home.

LetterTwenty7 12-02-2015 05:18 AM

How about... some kind of sport... archery is fun. You can also miss and say, 'Oh sorry, I'm new at this.'

Damn, it is not easy to find something good. I am trying to google something for myself, since I really like the idea of walking while listening to audio books, and I also want to spend more time away from the pc.

I don't know, maybe yoga/meditation (tried it, not bad), fishing (went once, got drunk, but not bad), selling stuff at the market just for fun (never tried it, but could be fun), dancing (...), camping with friends more often (definitely!)... Good luck, let us know about your new hobby.

Barry-xlovecam 12-02-2015 05:50 AM

Housecleaning then you can advance to OCD :upsidedow

ruff 12-02-2015 05:51 AM

Get yourself a single speed bicycle. Not only can you ride it for exercise, you can also work on it without have a degree in mechanical engineering. It is also a good way to meet chicks.

pornguy 12-02-2015 05:58 AM

Only issue with cooking is the eating part. If your not careful you end up eating it all and gaining a ton of weight.

My main hobby is reading. I need to get back to the gym but have a project that takes the majority of my time right now so that has to wait for about 2 more months.

Other than that im more of less hobby less as well.

wehateporn 12-02-2015 06:01 AM

Your cooking skills will allow you to open a burger van on the road outside your house

freecartoonporn 12-02-2015 06:05 AM

and get a bicycle, it helps a lot, i have cross trainer but i still want a bicycle .....

Acepimp 12-02-2015 06:39 AM

Rent a kayak and paddle around on some water. It's a good time. Bring some herb ;)

Rob 12-02-2015 07:24 AM

Try sculpting with clay. The materials are really cheap (50lb bag of WED clay for like $20, or a 1lb block of Sculpey for $10), and you don't really need a creative bone in your body. You can build whatever you want, then destroy it, or bake it and keep it. It's like Legos for adults that doesn't hurt when you step on. And who knows, you may get good at it and invest some money in bronze casting...turn your hobby into a lucrative career. :thumbsup

I can see him at the burger stall, chatting with the people folk. He can make sandwiches and lasagna so his repertoire is quite broad.

But if he takes a fancy to one of the customers he might make pass the odd innuendo about the size of his sausages. :1orglaugh

LeRoy 12-02-2015 08:16 AM

Try growing succulents.. hard to kill those. Many types so it's not as boring :)

EddyTheDog 12-02-2015 08:24 AM

Some awesome ideas - Thanks - I can see myself at one of those cool markets selling my famous lasagne - It wont make me rich but sounds like fun...

Choopa Phil 12-02-2015 08:43 AM

Working out and cooking healthy. No better investment than that!

Rochard 12-02-2015 10:09 AM

I have lots of hobbies.

For reasons I don't understand, a few years ago I decided to buy an old truck and fix it up. It's twenty-five years old, 175k miles on it, looks great, runs great, and most of it was fixed by myself. I am not very mechanical, so most things were a challenge for me. I wouldn't have been able to do it without YouTube videos.

I also got into biking two years ago. This has the added benefit of helping me to loose weight, which is great.

Probably because there is no such thing as obsessive wanking.

hottoddy 12-02-2015 10:18 AM

I also recommend gardening. You can start small and grow in containers or raised beds.
I gravitated toward growing mostly hot chili peppers, but also grow other food staples. That led to making hot sauce, dry powders, cooking and canning fresh foods for the family, creating hybrids, selling seeds. You could also grow barley and hops to make beer - or pot (if legal) - lots of interesting avenues to pursue. I grow both inside and out. That led to studying hydro, hoop houses, soil, compost, etc. It's turning into a fun side business that keeps me occupied year round.

AntonMG 12-02-2015 10:23 AM

Buy a workbench and start building stuff.
Whatever stuff you can come up with.

Dunno where you live, but what about bike riding or hiking? Bad time of the year now, but in summer time probably 50% of my time I'm either hiking or riding a mtn bike.
