You're quite expensive.

AJ should hire an in-house designer and template dev. Would bring more customers in, because the script is good but pretty frightening to look at (all the features)

But that's what you do actually, hire 3rd world designers and skim the $$$ of their work i believe.

:2 cents:

Good luck finding 3rd world designers who can work with Ex. Trust me, I've looked.

I knoa. I went with Zuzanna a couple times. But the rates are so discouraging, I switched to another platform.

But it's possible. What AJ only needs to do is to hire a decent salary designer/developer guy would make a few ready-tempates and then some design customizations.

Lookin good.Porn require more dynamic i guess

Yeah, for a non-exclusive template that is pretty outrageous. Especially in this day and age of piracy and membership site sales at low levels.

That should be the price for an exclusive design in my opinion.

j3rkules 12-05-2015 02:29 PM

Only 999$.

Fast / Good / Cheap.... Pick any two.

If you want fast and good, Zuzana is a terrific choice.

Thank you for the compliments on the design. In regards to pricing, this is a great option for those that want an updated look from default templates but aren?t looking to pay for a fully custom design. Over the past several years we have had countless inquiries requesting a good design, responsive coding and Elevated X integration with a budget of $1000 or less. Providing this is impossible for us to do as a company as there is far too much work involved for that price point to work for us. We couldn?t do just the integration alone for that price.

If you are looking to buy a template for a couple hundred dollars, then yes this template is too expensive for you. However if you are someone already looking into a full multi-model site design including responsive coding and Elevated X integration from a reputable company then this is a great option for you.

We have several templates in the works and some will be on the lower end with less pages for just a few hundred dollars, still fully integrated into Elevated X. So we?ll have numerous options coming up this next year.

Looks like way too much white space around everything and looks kind of half finished. Sorry...

If you can create what they did at half the price? Do it. Make bank. Have you ever worked with Elevated X? I didn't think so. Complaining about design is kind of moot if you can't do it yourself. Just sayin... :glugglug

Quite possibly you signed up for updates form a partner and unknowingly opted into to 3rd party offers? Ihave no idea. Maybe somebody spammed your email address around town. I have no idea how her business works. These are just thoughts.

Another thought? Unsubscribe. :2 cents:

Looks good, Zuzana. Fuck the haters. Your price point is dead on. A lot of these broke bitches couldn't start a fire with a cigarette lighter and gasoline. Your negative feedback (except for maybe one or 2) is just complainers. The same people crying that they can't make money because surfers are too cheap these days are the same people unwilling to pay up and want quality for nickels.

Fuck 'em. Keep on keepin on

Craft 12-08-2015 02:39 AM

Look at mechbunny.com Simple easy and much chepper.

DVTimes 12-08-2015 07:06 AM

To be honest, I do not think its anything to be excited about.

It looks ok, and thats it.

To be honest, I do not think its very good.

If it was exclusive I do not think its worth $1000.

But good luck anyway.

I think the first design and the whole concept of a 3rd party selling unique designs that are plug-and-play and work instantly in Elevated X is fantastic.

To make this more affordable and accessible to more of our users, Elevated X will cover the integration cost for any template purchased, reducing the template price to $499 :thumbsup

Just to clarify - Elevated X will NOT be supporting or making any design changes to these templates. That will be 100% responsibility of Zuzana Designs.

We will just plug them in for any new or existing Elevated X CMS user and get them to work with the latest default CMS settings, content sizes, etc.

Generous, I still do not understand how a non exclusive template can be worth $499 - someone please explain that to me?

Just the html files for $499 ? Why?

Hi Muad'Dib,

I'd argue that on all points. First if you look at the detail, you'll see that Zuz price is pretty reasonable. It would cost you a shitload of time to do it yourself, and if you hired a webmaster to do it for you it would cost a lot more than Z's charging.

Next, AJ keeps his pricing down, and gets to focus on the code and service by NOT hiring an in-house designer. Everyone everywhere wants their own look-and-feel anyway, and paying a designer to listen make designs would be expensive, especially when some companies such as you would hunt around for 3rd world designers.

Businesswise, AJ's doing the right thing, Zuzana's offer is a good deal, and you would do yourself a good favour by considering it.

To everyone else coughing at the price: You should take another look. While it's non-exclusive, you can still make it look the way you want. Zuzana's code is really easy to edit. All of her style sheets are in their own DIR so they don't affect your existing pages. You could buy her template and AJ's software "today", and be online with your content, looking the way you want it to within a day. Doing that without a template will take you weeks.

Bump for Sarah and AJ - this is a good deal.

2MuchMark 12-11-2015 10:28 AM

You missed my point.

I ditched ElevatedX altogether because it's was getting pretty expensive of adding new, customized websites. It' a very good script but it is replaceable.

I just put my 2 cents in. In the current state of the industry when people are actually closing down their websites, you just can't charge so much money for a non exclusive template.

At the end of the day, AJ is losing money because of how complex the script is and how expensive it is to skin and add custom features etc. $999 is just a tip of the iceberg, it would cost you a lot more to make everything look the way you really want to.

As i said, AJ should to hire a full time in-house designer/dev. It would help his business a lot.

:2 cents:

dig420 12-11-2015 11:58 AM

FWIW, I don't find the software all that difficult to use after about a two or three day learning curve. It has a lot of bells and whistles, but it's all stuff that you're going to need to run your paysites so it has to be there.

The design stuff is beyond me but that's mostly because I gave up learning new stuff around the time CSS came out, html is as far as I go. Even so, I've figured out how to change some stuff in the templates.

My hunch is because it's supported by Zuzana unlike a dirt cheap template you might see from a mainstream template store for $79. If something doesn't work, doesn't look right on mobile, whatever, there are people backing their work who will support that, and that costs money.

Also something that everyone posting here has overlooked is that - this is INTRO pricing. This is brand new and like most new things, an into price is often set to allow for testing the waters and with the hopes of recouping the initial investment before altering the price and going after volume sales.

There may be other justification for the price but that's just my :2 cents:
