the media hates trump more than ISIS

pretty obvious from the liberal media's coverage. They have lost their minds over trumps latest proposal.

i feel like we live in some left wing nazi germany right now. total fantasy-land. maybe the san bernadino shootings were workplace violence. ban guns! great idea! the last thing we need are law abiding americans having guns to protect themselves from islamic terrorists in the immigration system. Obamas not gonna do nuffin.

The problem we have is people are buying up firearms thinking they will be able to protect themselves when they have no clue of what that really means.

A good friend of mine went out and bought a handgun the day after the attack in San Bernardino. He is pretty smart for a kid his age, but still dumb in his own special way - "I need to save money for my wedding" but then traded in his dependable car with good gas mileage for a huge truck with a V8 because "he might want to go camping some day". I would want him on my side in a fist fight, but he has never handled a firearm before and has no training. Yet he seems to think he will be able to handle the situation if that moment ever comes. He has no concept about how the body reacts in such a situation, how adrenaline affects you, and how fear affects. One thirds of United States Marines who go through six to eight months of training lock up and freeze the first time they need to return fire in a combat situation.

I don't think taking three or four classes that are two hours each over a month long period isn't going to enough training. And it's something you need to keep up on a few times a year.

The best part of my friend is... He's upset because of the gun man was American born but obviously has a foreign last name. "They need all go home". Yet his last name is Venegas, and although he was born in the US he is obviously Hispanic.

I am okay with people carrying firearms in public - but ONLY if they are properly trained with their firearms. It kills me when I hear a fifty-four year old grandmother allowed her three year old grandson to get into her purse and thus her firearm so he can shoot himself. People like this need to go to prison.

I think it's funny that both sides want to take away rights and there is anyone that would back that!

i was pretty incensed BO's oval office speech was basically an admonishment of the American people to not hate moose limbs combined with a keep the wool over our eyes with a "my 4 point plan is working" lie.

I didn't even watch it. I knew that's what it would be. We are going to tolerance ourselves to safety!

Reminds me of when people blame the girl for getting raped because she wore a cute skirt...

I read an article about that dudes brother today. Decorated Navy vet. Crushed by the whole incident, obviously. Childhood friends all saying that one brother was great (the Navy vet) and "Americanized." The other brother (terrorist) had a difficult time with American culture and drifted further and further away as the years went on.

Isn't it utterly amazing? One son is decorated Navy vet, the other son is a hard core Islamic terrorist.

yep...dems think doing anything to offend muslims will be a recruiting tool for ISIS. better to get shot & not offend. better yet, make sure you dont get cremated when you get murdered, dont want to increase the carbon footprint!

I'm trying to understand what Trump said that was so wrong/false? Yes idiots who only read the liberal media headlines will have their panties in a whirl.

He said that there is no way to truly screen Muslims coming into this country to see their affiliation to terror networks. And until that process is perfected we shouldn't be putting Americans at risk just to try to be politically correct.

What is so wrong? How is what he said wrong? It's 100% truth that the government doesn't have a fucking clue who is really a terrorist and who is not.

too many people try to misunderstand what Trump says instead of trying to understand what he is saying. then they run around and misquote him to back up their misunderstanding.

MFCT 12-08-2015 11:20 AM

American news media might as well be called "state-run television," because that's basically all it is now. The establishment doesn't like Trump because he's not a bought-and-paid-for career-politician playing the game by the rules. They're threatened by this. Thus, they're using the media to (hopefully) form opinions against him.

Yes, it's disgusting. They read a headline and take it automatic fact.

There are countless of immigrants BEGGING/HOPING to get approved to migrate into the USA who would pose almost 0 liability to American society. No thanks assholes! Muslims are "cool"! Cool clock Ahmed!

Countless green card holders BEGGING/HOPING for years to have their families re-united with them in the USA who have already PROVEN to integrate, work hard and be a positive members of American society. Hey back of the line you integrated green card America loving pieces of shit! We are busy with Muslims fuck you and your family! We don't have the resources.

But NOPE. Lets expedite the migration process for people by the thousands from terror zones that hate America with no solid screening process. Because helping Muslims is "hip" now. right? Again... COOL CLOCK AHMED!

the media is doing it on its own. they don't report the news, they report the opinion. opinion sells more advertising combined with knowing what's best. anderson cooper doesn't report the news, he reports his view of the news. etc. and he thinks his view trumps other's views, because, you know, he's on tv.

Top 3 states with the toughest gun laws, in order:

1) California (San Bernardino attack)
2) New Jersey
3) Massachusetts (Boston Marathon bombing)

The visa vetting process is a fucking joke. "are you a nazi member" "have you every communicated with a terror network" "are you involved in human trafficking" etc. This is literally how it is.

Who answers yes to these questions? But hey let them in! they are "pre-screened". YA OK

And these liberal media talking heads keep saying "we have the greatest vetting process in the world". BASED ON WHAT, FOOLS?!

Canada did the same shit, wanted to bring in 50,000 refugees. They sent "boots on the ground" to Syrian refugee camps to interview potential "prospects". Makes me feel so much safer!

Maybe if they gave each and everyone of them a lie detector test. But let me guess that would hurt their feelings and be Un-Canadian.

the news media reflects the media CEOs positions. & the top of corporate american media is ultra-liberal, ultra PC in the corporate culture. honestly i can't wait for these new generation civil rights activists entering corporate america. its gonna be a fucking bloodbath of litigation when corporate CEOS are not liberal enough for the young turks, just like the college presidents.

liberals are reaping what they been sowing for 30 years: race relations taking a nosedive under democrat regime.

they are just as crooked as the dems...taking positions to pander to the voters, cause they are afraid of the things trump saying will tarnish them. They are just as feckless as the dems IMO. Thats why trumps the man, & next president of the united states.

"The view of the news" is for sale to the highest bidder. This is because news has turned into a "for-profit" business, and has been so for a few years now.

For example, when CNN does a story about how "toxic and deadly" the vapor from electronic cigarettes are, you can be sure that story was paid for by Big Tobacco, who are currently losing billions to e-cigs.

Eh?

Trump went straight to the top and has stayed there since he announced his candidacy. The reason for that is what he says resonates strongly with a large swath of voters that stretches across typical voting blocks.

Remove the blustery hyperbole of his comments and you can see the issues he is speaking to.

I'm not neccissarily agreeing with the style, I'm acknowledging it.

The gun laws are pointless. California still allows you to purchase an assault rifle.
