Trump Gets Owned Hard

Robbie 03-24-2016 02:09 PM

Trump tweeted that if Cruz kept attacking his wife that he would spill the beans on Cruz's wife.

Big whoopty-doo. None of it has anything to do with the issues.

ITraffic 03-24-2016 02:11 PM

don't get cruz mad. he is a fucking wildman when he is upset.

I disagree - it does have a lot to do with the issues. We have a political candidate who acting like immature school yard bully.

Cruz needs a fist to mouth, turn that frown upside down.

So if I post pics of your wife in lingerie and say bad things about her...and then you get angry at me and warn me to not do that or you'll say about my wife too...that make YOU an immature school yard bully?

Your reasoning (as usual) is kind of fucked up.

And NO, it has nothing to do with the issues.
Nothing to do with tax plans, trade deals, foreign affairs. Nothing.

I can't imagine Cruz in any kind of physical fight ever. He looks like the kid who got beat up in school every day. :1orglaugh

i predict anti-bullying laws will be used on trump.

he has to learn words can be weapons and words have consequences.

Oh that's right. And legally the candidates aren't supposed to even talk to the SuperPAC's.

I bet that Cruz has nothing at all to do with them behind closed doors...because that would be illegal. :winkwink:

Do you believe that candidates honestly don't plan and work with their SuperPACs every day?

It was another dirty Cruz campaign trick (just like the Carson dirty trick in Iowa). It was designed to make religious nutcases hate Trump. End of story.

Trump gets pissed and Tweets a "warning" to Ted about using his wife in an ad.

Now Trump is the "bad guy"?

The whole thing is dumb. Has nothing to do with the issues and people needing good jobs in this country.

You all (meaning not just you Robbie but all the Trump fans here) don't have any concerns that the next potential POTUS is someone that gets into twitter piss fests like a kardashian teenager?

That doesn't just make you the even the eensy weensiest bit concerned?

His "twitter piss fests" have been some of the most brilliant marketing ever seen in politics.

I only wish I could pull off something similar. By using social media Trump has been able to upend the entire political establishment.

You're wasting your time. Robbie is the exact person Trump was talking about when he said he could stand in the middle of 5th ave. and shoot someone and still get his vote. (he claims he is not voting for him, but is in every Trump thread like an infatuated school girl)

Just what our country needs to be great again! A marketer whose specialty is drama-fest pissing contests like "my wife is hotter than yours"...

I can see where that is really going to help solve the world's problems... we are going to be the greatest best most awesome country in the world because Trump's third, fourth? I lost count already wife is hotter than any other head of state's spouse!

Weird how when Obama used social media to win the Presidency he was an "innovator".

Trump uses it and people make fun of him. lol

That capital "D" beside your name on the ballot sure changes a lot of things.
Can you imagine if Hillary were a Republican? She'd already be in jail.

kane 03-24-2016 05:04 PM

Here is why this is stupid and troubling for both Cruz and Trump.

The super pac for Cruz posts this meme basically implying Trump's wife is a slut and someone we should be ashamed of having in the white house. Cruz, of course, says he has nothing to do with this, but I'm not foolish enough to believe that. If he didn't have anything to do with it he should be embarrassed that something associated with him is doing this kind of thing and he should denounce it. Trump threatens to release some secret about Cruz's wife which is more childish than anything. If he has something that is damning, he should release it, not threaten to. Then today he retweets a pic comparing Trump's and Cruz's wives that basically calls Cruz's wife ugly. That is just in bad taste. So we want someone that behaves like this representing our country? If some country's leader disagrees with Trump is he going to start making fun of their spouse or their kids?

This is my main problem with Trump. He can't just turn the other cheek. If someone strikes at him he hits back in brutal fashion. Sometimes it is funny and sometimes it is not. Is he going to do this from the White House? As president he will take non-stop criticism. If he going to burn all his energy striking back against his enemies or will he actually try to lead the country, often by example?

And if it was an "Internet free-lance" the Internet has no political machine rules or "journalistic review" -- the Internet shoots from the hip -- always.

Robbie 03-24-2016 05:44 PM

@kane...I do think it's "stupid", but "troubling"? No.

People overuse these words and it all starts going numb after a while.

It's so annoying to hear media anchors on the news say they are "terrified" or "troubled" every 5 minutes on their newscasts.

And that incredibly overused phrase that actually says nothing at all: "it raises questions".
LOL!

Anyway, on this newest "controversy" (which...face facts, most people could give a shit about his kind of thing...it's only for ratings) is so lame.
Instead of talking about the issues and the problems that need to be solved, the media is focused on this shit?

If anything, Cruz should send Trump a "thank you" letter. He hasn't had any news coverage in a week. And when Trump decided not to do any more debates...Cruz was just about cut out of all media completely.

This shit gives him a boost and allowed him to look "tough". lol

EDIT: And the funniest part of it is at the end when the reporter asks Cruz if he will still support Trump if he's the nominee...and Cruz stumbles around for a second before saying he will beat Trump to become the nominee.
In other words: "Donald You Sniveling Coward! You've Really Pissed Me Off! My Kids and My Wife...GRRRRRR!!!...but yes i will support you if you win the nomination" lol

Part of the reason the media is focusing on this is because this is what the candidates are doing. Had Trump taken the high road and simply said something like, "I'm glad Cruz is starting to realize what a beautiful, amazing woman Melania is," it would have seemed much more presidential and none of this would have been news.

So what happens if Trump is president and Angela Merkel doesn't agree with him, is he going to call her ugly? If Mitch McConnell says something that annoys Trump is he going to call him a name?

Part of me thinks it will be nice to have Trump and his bravado in the White House. It might help the country get its swagger back. It could also blow up in our faces and make us a laughing stock.

Using social media to deliver political message policy points is way different than pissing with someone over what their spouse looks like. One presents professional information in context and the other is the thing you expect from 13 year olds. If you need further explanation then ask Kane because he certainly seems to get it.

I think Hillary will be up on charges before the general election though. :2 cents:

Horatio Caine 03-24-2016 06:43 PM

So trump lost hispanicand black voters. Now he is doing great job losing women over 40 votes.
Does he really think his anchor wife married him for his looks or anything else besides money?

Won't it be a crazy election if we have a heatedly contested republican convention that ends up with Trump as the candidate then Hillary gets the nomination for her party only to be indicted at some point during the general election? Trump could end up being president simply by default.

I don't need anyone on GFY "explaining" anything to me. I know success when I see it. Maybe you don't comprehend it...but Trump is playing the media like a fiddle.
They THINK they are fucking him over...but instead they are giving him free air time 24/7

THAT is what he gets out of what you call his "13 year old" Twitter antics.

He's already beaten 16 candidates at their own game by doing it. And the media STILL can't figure it out. I guess they think like you are thinking. It's easy for Trump to keep winning because nobody else is thinking outside the box. They are all playing by an obsolete set of rules.

I've always studied and worked hard to learn how to work the "crowd". Trump is THE master of it. And you are getting worked just by thinking you are seeing what is happening when you don't see it at all.

I think they'd throw old man Biden in there if that happened.

One thing is for sure...if Hillary doesn't win the general election, Obama is going to have to give her a full Presidential pardon.
If he doesn't, Trump will have HIS Justice Dept. bring her up on charges.

She's literally running this campaign with her life on the line.

Big whoopty-doo. None of it has anything to do with the issues.

So why did Trump say it?

I agree it's not about the issues, it says more about the character of a person who is keen to attack so many people. Especially women.

It will be more about what she says than how she says it. Imagine her in the media spotlight discussing matters of concern.

Still people voted for her.
