I'd suggest you dial it back a notch, and look at what has happened more rationally. Just because the US spies on people doesn't mean they could have detected the hack.

Try to boil it down to basics: Russia, which is an unfriendly country, committed the hacks against the US. Not just to affect a few companies, but to influence the election and undermine democracy, which is what every American, Obama, Hillary and Trump lovers included, place their highest values on.

I have some friends who work in cyber security and what they tell me is scary. We've already seen it where they can take down parts of the Internet.

Read what Russia did in Ukraine with their power grid. They physically re-wrote the power company software and locked them out of their own system, and took down their power grid one section at a time. And there was nothing they could do to stop them.

This is fucking insane. They can take down our power grid, destroy our banking infrastructure; They can turn all lights in NYC green and kill thousands of people.

We are are so fucked.

THIS is the problem. People are making this out to be a political issue. It's not. It's a security issue. We know the Russians are hacking us. Not only political parties, but the White House, power companies, and god only know what else. They took down the Ukraine power grid; They can do the same to us at any time.

It's "only" political issues with Trump and his little brainless zombies. Pretty much everyone even Congress Republicans agree Russia hacked and released the info. They also all including Ryan/McCain ect.. believe Russia should be punished.
