The problem with this is I have seen so many. I wanted some random ones that aren't as well known.
Eddythedog mentioned a zombie one the other day that I hadn't heard of. Those were the kind of things I was thinking of.

2 is the best - Very creepy lead - 3 is OK buts it's more of a gross out flick - 2 is also gross, but in a different way...

Smack dat 01-15-2017 03:42 PM

Just watched the trailer, looks awesome. Was sure I would have seen it but I don't think I have.

Yeah - You want to stop watching but for some reason cant press the button...

I watched it alone and when it finished I had to go to the pub for some 'normality'.....

I *LOVE* that movie. Better than 1 and 3 thats for sure. And I don't know why, but all the best scenes feature Martin & his Mom. SO GOOD!

They are the creepiest couple in film history - I have seen some interviews he did and he is just as bad - Best casting ever...

They are OK. (No spoilers).

Human Centipede 1 plays out like a classic 80's horror movie. Girls lost in the woods meet a crazy doctor, etc. What the doctor makes the character goes through is a sick idea, but, it's not terribly gory or scary. It has some good suspense though and will make you sorry for eating that last slice of pizza.

Human Centipede 2 is completely different. It's about a guy who saw the first movie, and decides to make it real. This is a combination psychological thriller, lots of gore, and some truly sick and disturbing ideas. "Martin" is an amazing character. All the other characters are very strong and the acting is great.

You don't need to know anything about Human Centipede 1 really, but it helps a drop.

Human Centipede 3 features the same actors from 1 and 2, but in different roles. It plays as more of a parody and satire of the first movie, without referencing #2 at all. It has its share of gore and twisted ideas, but it not as effective as #2. It also "looks" low budget compared to the other two. The acting is fun to watch.

2MuchMark 01-15-2017 04:26 PM

Liked it, didn't like it.

It was good, but could have been better. I liked the crazy old lady that casts the spell, but I hated the CGI blood. I loved the Sam Raimi ism's (If you know what I mean). The movie was OK, but not terribly re-watchable.

Agreed. Not horror just perverted depravity. Very unique though! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

2MuchMark 01-15-2017 04:27 PM

If you want to have a really fun, gory, gross horror movie, you can't really do better than Peter Jackon's first movie, Dead Alive

Secret Window with Depp. A Stephen King story.

bronco67 01-15-2017 06:52 PM

The Descent

The Babadook

Drag me to Hell made no sense. Lady can't get a loan or something, then terrorizes a girl for the entire movie. I mean, what a total fucking bitch.

and if she had all these dark powers, why couldn't she use them to get some money?

poncabare 01-15-2017 07:30 PM

Anything starring Hugh grant

Joshua G 01-15-2017 07:38 PM

try wes cravens first movie, 1971, last house on the left.

it had a rape scene so graphic it was basically XXX. but thats the legend, the DVD does not have the good stuff.

but i felt genuinely depressed after watching its depravity. so it worked.

:2 cents:

theS2O 01-15-2017 08:48 PM

I've seen this movie years ago. Pretty awesome horror flick! :thumbsup
