Minutes after Trump becomes president, White House website deletes all mention of climate change
LOL! Are you fucking serious?
Goodbye clean air, blue water, people, animals, common sense... https://thinkprogress.org/white-hous...af8#.5gth5wi8i Quote:

I thought it was global warming? Now it's climate change
Good, it should be taken down. It's a complete and utter hoax and scam. It's FAKE NEWS |

You guys are so gullible
The website is the responsibility of the current administration. It is changed for each new president. The majority of content on WhiteHouse.gov was transferred to ObamaWhiteHouse.gov on Inauguration Day, and the terms "LGBT" and "climate change" were not specifically removed by Donald Trump. Hopeless you are. |

Reducing CO2 does not change the colour of water. More people die every year from cold weather than from hot weather. More animals die every year because of government efforts to "control" the climate than die from the climate actually changing. And poachers. The greatest lack of common sense is spending trillions of dollars and impoverishing millions of people in an attempt to finely tune and control the levels of an essential and life enabling trace gas in the atmosphere. . |

I saw Chris Matthews on Colbert last night. He worked as a speech writer for President Carter and was there during the transition. He said the day of the inauguration is very strange. Moving trucks pull up and you pack your stuff and leave. A huge crew of people come in and remove everything including all the pictures of the President and his family and they replace them with pics of the new President and his family. He went on to say when they are done with the job it is like the previous President never existed in the house and feels like the new one has been there forever.
It was kind of interesting. |

Water is molecule made of 3 atoms (2 Hydrogen, 1 Oxygen). This molecule has 3 modes of vibration including 2 stretching vibrations of oxygen-hydrogen bonds (which occur at v1 = 3650 cm−1 and v3 = 3755 cm−1. Absorption due to these vibrations occurs in the infrared spectrum of light, making the water slightly blue. Most of the blue we see in water is reflected by the sky, but not always. The problem is TOO MUCH CO2 (and TOO MUCH Methane and other "greenhouse gasses"). Too much CO2 reflects some heat of the planet which normally escapes into space, back towards the ground, quickly increasing the average temperature of the planet. We are tipping the balance and upsetting the Natural ratios of gasses, temperatures, chemicals etc of our planet, and that is the problem. Peace. |
Ocean pollution is the only issue with the planet and we are doing it no justice with climate change and global warming.

That is not happening. |

CO2 levels are far nearer to 0 than at almost any other time in the geologic record. For most of history they have been much, much higher than now. Why do you assume that almost deathly low is normal while higher is abnormal? Again, current "average" temperature is well below what it has been for much of the geologic record. Quote:

but according to dumb libs, weather has nothing to do with the climate. got it. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
does mark prince actually not know weather is the behavior of the climate? & a forecast of the weather is a forecast of the climate? & that "climate change" occurs everytime the sun goes up & down?
OMG those are some fucked up libby schools you went to marky mark. :1orglaugh |
Quote:
Examples: If the weather is consistently hot and humid then it would be considered to be a tropical climate. If the weather was consistently cold and snowing it would be considered an arctic climate. A weather forecast is not the forecast of the climate but a forecast of conditions that may change from day to day or even hour to hour etc. Therefore, weather change is the short-term change in conditions. Climate change is a change in the prevailing weather in an area over a long period of time. |

I'll meet you half-way on this though. I never understood the interest in biofuel. Growing food mainly for fuel is wrong somehow.. Quote:

You know what? That's a really good question. I spent a few minutes googling it but couldn't really find an answer to that (I'm tired). However according to sites like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon...9;s_atmosphere and https://www.scientificamerican.com/a...te-numerology/ it has to be kept below 350 ppm. I'm not smart enough to understand the whys and hows and chemisty of it all, but if thats what science is saying, its gotta be true. Quote:

Anyway, you logic is flawed. It does not violate the law of thermodynamics. You are forgetting the fact that the Earth is being warmed by the sun. There is a good explanation about this at https://www.skepticalscience.com/Sec...use-theory.htm I am enjoying this - and thanks for keeping it civil! |

Read the latest Fraser Institute's study on the complete lack of effect on air quality in Ontario after Premier Wynne shut down the two coalfire energy plants.
The result was negligible - and could have been achieved by adding additional scrubbers in the system at a tiny fraction of the cost. Climate change and carbon footprint is all a scam perpetrated by the governments in an attempt to make us feel guilty and leech more taxes from us all. |
