CNN FINALLY Showing Some Accountability
 

I predicted after the election that CNN was going to have eventually reign itself in from making up fake stories to try and hurt Pres. Trump.

That started today.

Today CNN officially retracted a story they had published that claimed one of Trump's associates had a "secret meeting" with Russian officials. Of course this all came from an "unnamed source"

CNN retracted the story today and also made a new POLICY.
Going forward, starting today...EVERY story that is about Trump/Russia will now be reviewed by 2 high level people at CNN.

They are FINALLY going to start moving to crack down on their own fake news.

I can only hope that once CNN starts reporting actual facts again...that the hysteria and hatred that they have whipped up amongst almost half the country will subside.

Also...I was eating my breakfast and flipping through the news channels (it was 7:30 a.m. here in Vegas when I posted that).

So I saw that story come up...went online to confirm it, and posted it here as clear vindication for what I have been saying since 2015 about CNN and it's lack of journalistic integrity with Trump.

Also, let me rain on your parade further: CNN just reported that the Supreme Court has lifted the travel ban partially and will hear the case later this year.

I suppose instead of discussing that issue...you will simply personally attack me for watching the news.

They had to do something like this, because they were exposed to most of the people for their disgusting false agenda. So either this (maybe just a show off) or lose credibility (of course they only have it in the eyes of brainwashed tools) even more.

I saw the article about CNN retracting that story. I don't really think this is news or news worthy; A news channel posted an article then quickly decided it wasn't credible enough so they removed it. This is common and happens more often than we think.

I can't wait to see how this investigation plays out. My guess is that they will not find any smoking gun with Trump's campaign colluding with Russia. However, what they will find is a lot of questionable business transactions with the Trump family with Russia and other illegal activity.

Then of course there is the entire obstruction of justice thing.

They've realized that few take them seriously anymore, this is an important step in the right direction, let's hope other channels follow suit :2 cents:

You don't watch them on TV here here in America. Fox News is entertainment and GOP crack. CNN is actual news for everybody, good or bad for both sides. FoxNews is just good news for GOP and select propoganda to rile up their base.

In my lifetime many if not all news media outlets have at one time or another retracted one type of story or another. In addition many if not all news media outlets have fired one or more of their reporters for concocting stories. So Robbie there is as they say "nothing new under the sun" with your report about CNN.

Rochard, I didn't say that this is the "first time" a retraction was made.

But it's the FIRST of the many fake stories that were debunked that CNN has actually retracted about Trump.
And this is very UNcommon for a new policy to be put in place by top level executives to STOP fake news at CNN.

I predicted that after the election was over heads were gonna roll at CNN (just like they had to after the 2012 election because of fake stories).
It took a little longer for CNN to do it...but this is the beginning of them cleaning their house.

And hopefully getting their network back on track.

Fake news is what helped to get Trump elected - pizzagate and such nonsense. People believe in this crap; One person picked up their firearms and went to investigate, shooting the place up. Now the Trump administration is calling it "Fake news" if they don't like it.

The difference between real news and fake news is simple:

Real news is when a company puts up an article, but after quick review decides it isn't backed up by facts, and quickly takes the article down. (And then fires everyone involved.)

Fake news is when a website no one ever heard of publishes an article, which is then picked up by another site no one has ever heard of, and then is picked up by Fox News which runs with the article, and then defends it even though they haven't checked any of the facts.

The difference between the two is in one case an article was written by real journalists and then quickly removed due to lack of facts, while in the second case it was a blog post picked up by a little known news site which was then accepted as fact by a major news company who never checked any of the facts.

That's what the right wing needs,all news but what we tell you is fake. Come to us we will tell you the truth, well its not really the truth but its what you like to hear.

As far as Russia, you have to remember in business none of that shit matters. Coke figured a way to sell soda to the nazis, Carly when at HP figured a way to get around the law to sell computers to Iran. In business its about winning, profits and nothing is wrong with that.

No one in the US was going to lend Trump a nickle and Russia was his savior. This is what Eric Trump said to golf digest basically in 2014 and when you are in business the bad guy shit doesnt matter.

Just saw this on television with CNN supervising producer John Bonefield admitting that CNN is doing the whole Russia/Trump story for ratings only and that there is no evidence of anything. You have to watch this video. This is one of the main men at CNN saying it from his own lips.

This JUST came out overnight. CNN is not talking about it at all on the air of course. But last night 3 of the "journalists" involved in the retracted story that I made this thread about were fired.
And CNN hasn't talked about that on the air either.
This is something that should open everyone's eyes to the truth:

CNN is a virus. The Russia stuff before the election was an instance of a disease.

Hate to keep banging on about the Jews, but it is Jewish control of your media that makes such industrial-scale lying acceptable. "Narratives" are not an acceptable alternative to truth, and the same goes for right-wing news.
