a very real concern of mine:

https://gfy.com/22214239-post89.html

my concern is kids are going to get killed while you guys stand around ...

https://i.imgur.com/3VZl4lw.gif

you guys have made it very clear with your post and comments that is defiantly more important to each of you to showcase your vastly superior intellect, while demanding the everybody acknowledge your insight and great depth of personal charter.

so have fun doing that... and remember this post when the next kids are murdered. at least I had the fucking balls to write to all the sleazy suits in office about it, yeah in my opinion a politician ain't much different than a TV preacher... so you guys pick out the team of lowlife scum with great haircuts to talk about... I'll keep trying to stop the fucking maddens :thumbsup

(typo's for you-know-who)

** edit: why can't 3 or 4 pornographers and a bunch of guys working fast food living with moms make a different?

All of the schools in my county have metro police officers in them and they are locked down during school hours. That doesn't mean shit can't happen but it's better than most are doing.

So the other 18 school shootings that happened just in 2018 were not so much of an issue but now suddenly of its a race aginst time to ban a bump stock..... and its all the liberals fault...you k ow those dirty Democrats who have pushed for sensible gun legislation for years.. It's all their fault..

Just think of all the lives Trump would have saved if he had banned bump stocks after the Vegas shooting.. literally thousands of lives maybe even millions because we all know guns dont kill people bump stocks do...

how thousands of lives?
You can watch youtube videos, without bump stock you could shoot pretty much in a similar manner (a bit slower, but more accurate).

There is still a question whether one would kill ANY less without bump stock, let alone prevent all.

Its called sarcasim.. Trump is throwing out a bump stock ban to claim he did something.. The fucking kid didnt even have a bump stock..

Meanwhile Republicans who control the FL state congress outright stated they won't even "talk" about any form of gun legislation.. 2 of the biggest mass shooting events have taken place in Florida but Republicans will not even allow a gun debate in the FL congress..

Obviously it's all Democrats fault. Probably Hillary the witch's fault.

I guess we will have to wait till another nutter who has better aim than the last one decides to shoot up a baseball field of Republicans before they come to the table and do what the majority of people in this country have repeatedly asked for.. in the mean time we will just keep voting them out of office..

tell ya what keep pointing the finger at trump if you want, in fact run your mouth about anything you want as loud as you want, I will continue to write letters.

after the next set of school murders you tell everyone how proud you are because after the previous school murders, you argued for gun control.

I have stood up for what I believe in, every human life has value. and I did everything I could to stop the killings. today.

on a personal note,

I really question your intellectual integrity after the last trump bump you posted about signing away the clause to stop mentally ill people from getting guns AND this recent set of murders was directly relate to an action trump took.*

how in the hopping holy fuck can I take anything you say with any credence? dude! you have major credibility issue. :2 cents:

on the supposition that any legislation takes about 30 months to have effect, by your reasoning Obama is personally responsible for every school murder for the last 2 years and for the next few years...

Want a reasonable solution to gun crimes? Here it is:

Make every single gun sold in the US cost $10,000+. Make every bullet sold in the US cost $100 a pop (pun intended).

Problem solved. Next.

What countries are guns banned in (that are not despotic dictatorships)? I live in Canada and guns are not banned here. I can buy an AR15 and many other similar guns if I want to.

Here, look at this list of some of the guns available here:

Top 10 non restricted black rifles in Canada

I can even buy some of them online if I want to.

Isn't it just a argument about what is considered a school shooting? No there hasn't been 18 mass shootings but what they consider a school shooting is anything that takes place on school property..

Reguardless... It's still a fact that not a single school shooter has used a bump stock. In fact the only mass shooting to even use one was the Vegas shooter but he had shit loads of guns.

The point being bump stocks are not really the issue at hand and they actually make it harder to aim the weapon..

Ban on high capacity mags would be much more sensible than banning a useless bump stock.. Ban any clip over 10 rounds for any gun and make it mandatory jail time if you are caught with them. No grandfather shit.

Wouldn't eliminate the problem but would neuter most AR guns with out banning the gun.

EVERYBODY wants better gun control laws.

It's common sense. You don't hand a weapon to someone without a mental health check first. You don't hand a weapon to someone who is mentally ill. A simple law like this might have prevented the mass shooting in Florida. What is anyone afraid of? If you are a law abiding citizen, and have no mental health issues, you have a firearm.

Not selling firearms to people on a terrorist watch list is common sense too.

Not selling firearms that can shoot off hundreds of rounds a minute is common sense too.

bronco67 02-21-2018 11:28 AM

A bump stock could actually make a school shooting less catastrophic because anyone who has fired automatic weapons knows you can be just as (or more) on target with semi-auto, well placed shots.

Trump throwing that bone is the barely least thing he could do to possibly appease the anti gun anger, without totally pissing off gun owners. Seriously, is banning those devices going to stop a rampage with a semi auto rifle? When I had an AR15, I could empty the entire clip in seconds.

That's right motherfuckers. I, MR Liberal once owned an AR15, and I actually built mine piece by piece through mail order. So suck my dick.

But that's an argument for another thread.

You are 100% right about Bump stocks, also there are cranks that you can install that essentially do the same thing as bump stocks.

You are right about how we classify the stats, I just find it calling them school shootings is misleading and you know why.

You can go ahead and ban everything you want. The bigger issue really is mental health and increases in security and acting on tips. There are 350 Million guns in the United states right now. The guns are out there and you aren't getting them back. So I think the discussions needed to be had need to be in regards to security which would be the quickest solution

Why are no mass shootings happening in Black or Jewish schools? Because they have had detection and protection for years and years. Why would it be so bad for white kids?

See and here's the problem. No matter what Trump does in your opinion, it's to little to late, or never enough. Why don't you address the real issue? The vast majority causing these mass shootings were on/off SSRIs. The remaining couldn't be verified due to the owners refused release of medical records, or were dead. You being a Democrat, must know why all medical records are sealed?

Yes to all of that.

Unfortunately, maybe because of your two party system, everything becomes so adversarial, so all-or-nothing, so black and white and so lacking in compromise.

It's like people are arguing against their better judgement just because they might be forced to admit they have ideas that are similar to their opponents. And yes it goes both ways.

It makes for a grim outlook going forward because the divisiveness grows day by day.

I meant guns like AR15...there is no need for the general public to have access to high capacity semi autos...its madness to sell this...

having a handgun is OK under certain circumstances...there should be lots of obstacles and tests done...

sooner or later it will come to this in the USA as well...maybe when theres 1 mass shooting/day or 2...at some point it will have to happen...

I meant guns like AR15 as well. A semi-auto is a semi-auto. They capacity has nothing to do with the gun itself. It's all in the size of the magazine. And even if the magazines aren't sold legally I am sure they are readily available on the black market and they can probably even be made or modified at home.

You're correct, it's 18 "school shootings" since the beginning of year. Should raise the eye brows on every american, but business as usual. I also agree with you that bump stocks wont change anything, geez anyone with a sane mind can understand that. So why is this even being proposed? I guess to hand out some crumbs to the anti gun people.

pimpmaster9000 02-21-2018 04:17 PM

gun companies and NRA folk should pay for this...a hefty and progressive tax should be imposed on those who produce the problem and this money should go towards guarding schools...

bullets should cost like 10$/bullet for 10 and then the next bullets in your life should be 100$/bullet...
guns should cost +1000$ for pistols and +10.000 for rifles...
gun/bullet manufacturers should pay hella tax...hella...make it almost unprofitable...

if the NRA folk want guns and the gun manufacturers want to create instruments of death, well they should pay for what their little hobby does to others...it is nobody elses fault but theirs...

Really? It's not even the fault of the person that decides to start shooting people?

No wonder the world is so fucked up when there is no such thing as personal responsibility anymore.

the shooter is obviously responsible personally...but who is defending his right to purchase almost anything he wants and who is producing the instrument for mass murder?...the gun nuts and gun companies...

let me explain it to you in a way I know you will understand...if I was a big gun company and I decided to give away massive amounts of guns and ammo for free in your city to random people and the murder rate spiked sharply, would you consider me responsible?

That's a ridiculous and juvenile analogy. You make it sound like gun manufacturers want people to mindlessly murder people with their products.

Also, they don't give away guns and ammo for free to random people and if they did they would be shut down.

Try to make your points without being so ridiculous.

My oldest is already out but I have another that will be starting in a few years.. I have to tell you.. If I EVER hear about a "drill" at my kids school where they are shooting off blanks I'm going to find out who planned that drill, find out where they live and in the wee hours of the morning sit out in front of their house and unload some blanks waking everybody in the neighborhood up. Why in the fuck are you going to do some shit like that rather than PROTECTING THE SCHOOL. Who's fucking idea was that? That's the fucker needs to be shot.
