lol no, I haven't had a job in adult for over a year. Just trying to get back in.

I've listed 2 ads last week on indeed.com.

Both ads had over 200 applicants. Going through 400 resumes is beyond eye-opening.

Most people cannot sell themselves for shit.

Let me give you some advice. Start doing some local mainstream development work via Wordpress (something you can actually hand down to the end user if they are on a budget than doesn't account for administration).

Wouldn't hurt to cover shopify, squarespace, etc.

All the usual upsales.. etc.

Don't depend on Adult companies to hire.. That trend is only going one direction. Somehow I got lucky when I realized I didn't want to even attempt being at the mercy of google/seo. This was some time after galleries died.

Media buying is a beautiful thing.

Adult still offers something incredibly unique in that regard. All of the traffic has been liquidated into just a few avenues. Think about the opportunity to scale. Your clever enough to put the pieces together with a bit of trial and error.

You only have to "out-think" the next man.. and if you have any kind of creativity.. That isn't difficult to achieve.

Diomed provided some good advice as well but most people cannot hack working for themselves. Convincing someone to work for themselves will go nowhere 99 times out of 100. Most people want to do work, get paid, enjoy their time off. You cannot do that when you work for yourself.

Here's a tip: Qualified employees are not "look at me!" whores. The non boring resumes that you want are a reflection of you, someone inflating what they are screaming "look at me!" to distract from their inadequacies. How exactly do you tag/post your listings on Indeed? I've never had luck searching for adult jobs on Indeed using the typical keywords. Generally get a "the search did not match any jobs"

Out of curiosity, why are you looking strictly for adult jobs? I'm not sure you would find many, adult jobs are going to be more spread out across the world.

What kind of skills do you have and what kind of job are you looking for?

So right. from 2003-08 I hit up every PHX forums as well as a show in Hollywood/ playboy mansion and a Vegas show. Also a private get together in NYC with 8-12 webmasters. You meet some great people at shows.
