New Car I purchased. 2018 Chevy Impala V6, 305 horse power. ((Pix))
My old car was a 2001 Buick Century. I liked the car, after years of wear and tear I figured it was time for something new.
This is my 3 week old 2018 Chevy Impala LT V6 with a MSRP of $34,000.00. I purchased the car for $30,000.00 ($20,000.00 down to lower my monthly payments) which included the $1300.00 trade-in on the Buick. The undercarriage of the Buick was a rust bucket that required in excess of $2500.00 in breakline repairs alone. Here is my new Chevy Impala complete with Sun/moon roof, it's 140mph odometer and 305 horse power Direct Injection V6 engine. All that money and it didn't come with floor mats. Iam using the old ones out of the Buick untill I find the time to order custom ones. https://i.imgur.com/2saejHp.jpg https://i.imgur.com/SkFrTI0.jpg https://i.imgur.com/k4bOoYK.jpg https://i.imgur.com/wfhFjdf.jpg https://i.imgur.com/naHx9rG.jpg https://i.imgur.com/lydDr5E.jpg https://i.imgur.com/eW1idJ0.jpg I as I'm sure others would like to see your wheels. If you do not mind, Iam curious what style of daily driver you have. |

Congrats on the new purchase. Getting a new car is always exciting ;-)
Don't think I have any pics of my truck but I drive a 2015 Chevy Silverado. Not a huge truck fan but love to fish and it gets my boat around to the lakes i wanna hit. |
Getting a new car is always fun.
I still have my Jeep Grand Cherokee (daily driver) and my Challenger, but I need something different. Some of the older cars are so cheap now, and easy to find online. I've always wanted a 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO.... Sort of a sheep in wolf's clothing kind of car. You can find them for $10k now online. |
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. This is the second new off the dealers lot vehicle I've owned.
Yes it's very exciting having a brand new car in the garage. That new car smell. Parking it way in the back of the parking lot when I go out to avoid someone hitting it with a shopping cart or chipped paint from other careless driver opening their door on to mine. This is the dealers sticker that was on the car. Should have included these in my original opening post. The premium Iridescent Pearl Tricoat paint was a additional $900.00. In the twilight hours the car stands out from the rest. https://i.imgur.com/Nn8oPrm.jpg https://i.imgur.com/LN3fOFW.jpg |
I like your Impala!
I've always liked them, had a 1971 avocado green one growing up. 2 door. |
You should have haggled more but grats on your new ride!
:thumbsup |
Damn, that's hot!!!

Congrats those are nice cars. That said, are you like in your 70's? Who buys a Buick?

I like the exterior but the interior seems pretty standard to me for a 30k car.
But overall, nice choice. |

Fast forward to today. Kid is grown, Buick is gone, Wife has her 2017 Cadillac Escalade as my 305 horse power mid life crisis Impala is parked out in the garage. Quote:

It's not necessarily the interior. The Sun / Moon roof was extra / Extra $ for the paint. Extra money for the 3.6ltr engine. My Impala LT V6 is basically a Impala Premier. The only thing missing on my Impala is the chrome trim running down the doors. The Premier's MSRP is anywhere between $34 to $36,000.00. Quote:

Really impressed by the horses they put in these mid level sedans these days.
I have a 2017 Nissan Maxima which has about the same horsepower as the Impala and it definitely has some balls. In comparison, my 85 Mustang GT had about 300...or maybe it was 350. |
Looks sweet. Worked Hard for it!
|
My first car was a 59 Impala that I "restored" after a fender bender from parts off a 59 Bel Air. Total cost after selling the remnants of the Bel Air to a wrecking yard, $65
I sold it a few years later for a few hundred. 348 V8, slip and slide powerglide transmission. Less than 50,000 when I got it, from people that bought it from my uncle when they were 70. |

Years ago I purchased a running 1965 Impala SS with the factory tachometer in the middle of the dashboard. Paid $400.00 for the car. No idea what was under the hood. It ran, it was in fair condition. Three days later a guy offered me $1000.00 for it and I took it. Would I love to have that car back and my Snorkel hood Canary Yellow 73 Mustang Fast back too. |
Car was filthy with under 200 miles on it. Gave it it's first bath after spending a good $40.00 at Auto Zone for new car care products. It has a roomy backseat too.

Congrats on the new car...nothing better than the feeling of fresh everything!
Currently I have an Infiniti Q50 with an aftermarket supercharger, methanol injection, and fully built transmission. Currently output is 583HP (all wheel drive) and 460TQ http://i63.tinypic.com/34soyu1.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/b4b95w.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/2csgjsp.jpg Its a labor of love thats for sure! |
After researching, this is the wax that will be applied to the Impala.
Research states, this is a better quality over Mothers. https://i.imgur.com/O0eNtxQ.jpg |
The anonymous non industry alt-right hate fake nic 8pt-buck, who wants to remain anonymous and gives no identifying information, wants us to believe he's a winner with a cool new car. What a fucking loser :1orglaugh

They were nice enough to buy me lunch. It was early afternoon and the wife wanted to go to Applebee's. I was thinking Surf and Turf but she said don't be a asshole. |
congrats, enjoy :thumbsup

I love the new Impala.
Unfortunately, I've got 4 kids and am not a fan of big SUVs. I just bought a new 2018 VW Tiguan. It's small and actually has three rows that hold all the kids. |
