First try to understand what it is, and stands for.
If you're still interested, then set low buys, maybe just above a solid $K number (ie: $2900-3100 now) :2 cents: good luck man :thumbsup |
wait until it drops bellow $1k/btc

bitcoin is here to stay , same as internet, torrent, TOR and other useful things. its value may differ from time to time, but bitcoin is far from bubble. |
lolz okee dokee.
Looks like Jesus doesn't mind taking advantage of subsidized power rates to mine crypto. https://www.ccn.com/russian-church-f...crypto-mining/ A court ruling in Russia recently determined that a church must pay higher electricity fees, due to the fact that they are running cryptocurrency mining hardware on the property. Although this is an isolated court ruling, it certainly has implications for private citizens, who are mining in their own homes. Church Investigated “Grace”, the evangelical religious organization involved, denied that the electricity was used to mine cryptocurrency. This is not surprising, considering that Eastern Europe enjoys low subsidized electricity rates, which leads many to mine crypto in their own home. The current legislation requires those who mine cryptocurrency to pay higher electricity rates, a claim which the church, located in Irkutsk, Russia, has denied. |

I'm not suggesting that I think it's gonna disappear completely, or anything along those lines, and I'm not suggesting that people won't be able to make a profit day trading in it, but as for putting 50k into it... My answer stands. I have watched the value of my own coins drop to half of what I paid for them, but luckily I also sold enough at the right time to cover my original investment and make a very small profit. So the coins I still have are worth half what I paid for them, and I seriously doubt that they will recover to their original cost. That said though, I'm still hanging on to them (as they are effectively free for me) but I don't expect them to recover - So no, I certainly won't be putting a further 50k into it :) |
no one knows shit about crypto
|
this guy I'm selling crypto to, he is in the field for like 6-8 years I don't remember exactly... he's making his salary in a totally different area, not even online, he told me he doesn't give a fuck about prices or market he just wants to gain lots of ethereum just to have as much as possible, whatever the future brings... I guess that's one of the better mindsets x) at least the cheaper the price gets the happier he is when I sell to him :) I'm just getting everyday payments in ethereum sometimes so to me the only thing that's important is to get at least equal price in fiat according to what the exchange rate is at the time of my payment... perfect synergy x)

bakkt is the centralization of bitcoin and the complete takeover by the cartel...rehypothecation...remember what happened to gold and silver prices? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh how to overcome the scarcity of bitcoin: create a paper asset that clients have posted as collateral and lend out 10:1...or 100:1... fractional reserve bitcoin IRL..."custodial services" LOL like dude cant take care of his own wallet but needs some institution to be custodian over his key and in return he gets some paper...what a crock of shit!... IRL they will drive the price down as fuck, and then pump it again in a year or so...aint no suckers buying at 3K when they can crash it to like a few hundred and then pump and dump again...unregulated pump and dump paradise.... |

For answers to questions like this, please go to /r/bitcoin and r/ethtrader (for eth)
My opinion: BTC may dump more ...to 2,8k - this range. I'd hold with the buying. Im waiting to get in too, just think it's gonna drop bit more. As for eth, the tech side and development was never that good as it is now. The fundamentials are strong. As for the prices - It's just crypto being crypto I guess. There will be another bull run. |
I have my alert set at $2500, you just never know though.

Dollar cost average in, but yes.. it's a good time to buy from a technical perspective.
It has done a massive retrace to a lower fib support and it has just bounced off the 200 week MA. |
|
It's at $3,900 as of today. Go get it now.
|
Here's a zoomed out weekly chart..
https://www.tradingview.com/x/VYH6H8bw/ Why anyone would think it's a bad time to buy is beyond me. Perfect bounce off support and the RSI is turning up. |

Minor retracement before the even bigger drop. "Wow it rose 1k in 24h!". It was a 1k rise in 5 days, and a 3k drop in 1 month before that. Get ready for another nose dive, i know the level i'll be buying :)
