Anyway though.....I doubt the Sri Lankan government is responsible other then turning a blind eye. This is most likely Buddhist extremists. They have been attacking both Muslims and Christians for years. How often have Muslims attacked Christians there? I am not saying they love each other or that it hasn't happened, but it's not common. I also doubt there is any such coordinated effort between Muslims and Buddhists, or even Buddhists and Hindus.

That may well be the case you just need to understand in Sri Lanka the radical Muslim's and the radical Buddhist's are as bad as each other except the Government usually sides with the Buddhist's.

Sri Lankan Muslim's would be well aware this is likely to throw them into civil war again and when your in the 10% minority... that's not a good place to be if you're the target.

I heard there has been a lot of construction going on around the area. Some of the guys there were dealing with explosive materials and chemicals.
Looks like it was an accident that was caused by carelessness.

Of course the explosions happened in multiple locations because the workers were returning to their hotels and guest houses.
