Was curious, how long people have been in the biz here?

For me its been 23 very interesting years.

I've written a post with my story about how I started in adult here in the last few months, but naturally, the GFY search doesn't want to let me find it...

In the late 1980's. And then full time online adult in 1996.

And when we started our own content company Pure Candy Images in 1998, Max Candy was setting the bar for quality.
Max was the guy we wanted to be like!

My partner AL4A and I looked at your work as the inspiration (though I never was able to match it).

1996 or 1997 or so....

I came across a picture of three USC cheerleaders I liked on a website called "Cheer Fan" or some such nonsense. I used this picture as my wallpaper. I dropped the webmaster an email asking if he more photos of USC cheerleaders and mentioned I wish I could make my own webpage. Much to my surprise he replied to me and said "why don't you learn how to make web pages?". Via email he told me what software I needed and what I needed to do to make it happen. Twenty-four hours later I had a website up online on my PC he could see.

That "webmaster" was in fact Steve Lightspeed.

Over the next two years I created dozens of girly sites and started making money with affiliate links while Steve was running Lightspeed University. I opened up my first solo girl site while I was going to college, shooting my own content and all.

Eventually I went to work for Steve.

Legally I started end of May 2003. Non-legally 1998.

I haven't really ran anything adult since going full mainstream in 2012 though I have boughten domains and attempted ideas, but usually got bored and ditched them.

I started jerking off about 30 years ago, does that count?

My very first free site, I was a minor in 99. I didnt get really into it until 06 tho. Quit 100% last year. All mainstream now.

1993 began publishing a magazine. 1995 I had my first site and in 1997-1998 I went with thirty more sites.

1999 players.

Really? how different is it compared to adult? Or is it just same thing different product basically.

2001 started and quit my job of 12 years in 2002.

I started in 1966, so you're all newbies to me. LOL

I was at that show...so yeah, could be that's when we met.

Since 1997. Remained active throughout the years. Don't see many names I recognize on GFY...and my nick has changed. Boneprone.. if you are still out there, we've dined on lobster and wine at one of many top affiliate appreciation trips.

1993 - took a job as video editor for Canada's largest adult video distributor based just outside Toronto.

June/'99 - launched our first paysite KastleArchives.com and followed it with two more a few years later.
