You guys always use the misleading word "escorting". What do you mean by it? See the difference between a prostitute & an escort is, the time is paid for not the sex.

Escort is more than just a prostitution imho. You pay for a time of smart and beautiful lady. She shall provide you much more service than just a usual sex-worker: intelligent conversations over a dinner, make a good companion during meeting with your business partners and so on.

What you explained is just two different payment models for the same thing. Analogically, when coding I can give someone a flat rate for the project ("the sex") or charge them hourly ("the time"), but i'm still a programmer. An escort is still a prostitute. A pornstar is still a prostitute (in most cases). There is however, a difference between an escort and a street hooker.

I am of course not imposing morals on anyone here, It would be ridiculous for someone working in the porn industry to look down on someone for having sex for money - but if someone is paying someone else with the expectation of sex in return it is in fact by definition prostitution.

If someone does sex for money he/she is a prostitute according to the definition. Give us another definition and we will use instead.

Prostitution is payment for sex which most likely would not have occurred had it not been for the payment involved.

Ergo, a couple filming themselves and selling the video is not prostitution because they likely would have had sex anyways.

a prostitute is paid to have sex, sex only. You go to a prostitute and pay 20 for a blow job or 50 for a fuck. An escort, you pay for the time, 100 for half hour and maybe sit and chat, another person may want sex, but then it´s escorting, escorting that persons wishes.

Also, pornstars have to be actors or actresses, at no point, unless it´s a gangbang or a dogginer session video scene. However, many of my vids have a story to them, therefore, I have to act, this would not be done with prostitution.

So your definition doesn't work. If someone had sex for money even once, he/she is a prostitute.
