which logo is better?
 

Working on a new clip store and needed a logo for the dvd covers. Had 2 people make me one. Which one do you all think is better? Girl or Chicken/Hen?

The red and black one looks like you put more thought into it. The pink one looks like it iwas put together in 2 seconds and or looks like it is from the 1990's.

Why not get AI to draw you a photo realistic pic of a sweet yellow baby chick(en) and have it add a set of 'Devil Horns' ?

I would stay away from any animal images on a site like C4S. LOL You know there are some weird fuckers on there who might expect actual chicken sex.

the first looks kinda blocky and unwieldy, and the chicken appears to be a full grown male rooster. chicks are small and fluffy. so not exactly an on-brand image

and lol to the c4s concern. 'get your freak on but beware the beaks and talons' :upsidedow


the second one reminds me of Miami Vice era design. not very modern looking. problematic if not going for an 80's feel in terms of the content


is Loreen still around? she made me a logo that was completely on brand; perfect font and colour scheme for my site/style, and subtly incorporated my beloved cat paw theme

to this day I love it so. can't remember what I spent but it was very inexpensive. she knocked it out of the park on her first try cuz she asked me a lot of specific questions about what vibe I wanted at the beginning


there are a lot of great logo designers here. look around, look at their portfolios, end up with something really special that fits your site/style perfectly. don't know what that is, but I'd wager the examples you posted ain't it

just one more suggestion...

if your site is the .com it's just a blank hosting landing page. gives the designer nothing to work with in terms of inspiration. put something together, even if just an unidexed work-in-progress lander to show the designer the general approach you're aiming for

would probs go a long way to getting a design that fits. don't design a site around a logo. vice versa will always be more effective

Use canva ai logo maker. It's free and it will provide logos much better than that

Whoops, missed a couple brush strokes. When I read the post I thought you were doing print DVD covers, so I made the logo in silver and yellow so you could foil it in silver and gold. Would look sweet!
