Question About Spash Page Designs ...
 

Im trying to make my own splash (btw it looks like shit, lol) and im doing some text for it ...

So i start writing the usual shit "thousands of pics", "hundreds of video's", "live chat" and all that.

Then i sat back to look at it, and i realized i dont have any of that stuff, LOL!!!

Ok my question is ....

When designing splashes for a sponsor your pushing who is a per signup program ....

Do you lie on your text? Or just use text that isnt lying, but doesnt imply lack of content?

The "old standard" was 700 x 400 or there abouts. These days most of the stuff I get is 720 x AT LEAST 550

I have no idea what size is the standard, im building it to fit my needs. It will fit fine within the page its made for.

My concern is the wording mostly.

I came up with stacy because i got a good deal on the content from hershie, and she really fits the role. I thought the whole idea of "stacy" just gave the site more depth .... i could be wrong.

ya know, instead of instead of paying all kinds of money for a design, im trying to make my own.

Just because im not so good at it, doesnt make it a bad thing .... im just trying to learn.

hmm i have a question im stumped on ....

id like to reduce the height of the entire thing without changing anything in the image.

Basically i want to cut off some of the blue on the bottom.

I tried going to "IMAGE>IMAGE SIZE" but it changes everything in the image together. I just want to chop a bit off the bottom.


Can anyone explain?

Hell im sure there are many easy ways to do this.

Here is the long way prolly. Open it, create a duplicate. Mark out a rectangle in the blue you want gone and cut it out. Grab the bottom portion and move it up to connect to the upper part. Merge layers then copy the entire graphic with the square thingy, then copy then paste into new image and that should do it.

the blue of the page background doesnt match the blue of your table/graphic thing

oh and caught is spelt wrong

Scratch "from the finest clubs" and insert "from the WILDEST clubs"
