So what do you think of the first "Sig Day " on GFY?
 

Personally I think it was nice , and kept the sig posts to a separate part of GFY and not the main forum.

I also noticed alot people got some sig deals done , which would not have been accomplanished if the forum wasnt made for one day per month.

i think lensman made a big mistake for several reasons.

Lensman doesnt have the #1 adult webmaster message board for nothing. Its brilliant ideas like this "1 day sig market" and a whole lot of other subtleties that keeps webmasters coming back to his board everyday.

What's the mistake? if crap posters will be banned, and per-post payments are not allowed, and negotiations happen only once a month, what is it going to hurt?

great idea, fun to joke around with people, funny to see how quickly some people drop price. i say keep it going, i myself dont sell my sig but it brings in some extra coin for people. so all the power to you guys that got some extra cash in coming up next month. :thumbsup

Seems like it worked well to me I think it will either make the sig market fizzle out of put it in it's proper place and let the market dictate what becomes of it. But overall I would say the first time it worked very well.

it was nice to see a lot less sig sale threads on the main forum, I didn't really take a big look into the forum till today, saw some people mkaing between 500-1000 per sig, that's some nice extra dough, I got some other ideas lens should try out tho

I rather enjoyed it. Bidding wars would have been great to see and I think more sponsors will show up once word gets out a little more.
