Here's a clue on why that list is stupid: 7 of the top 10 movies are from after 2000. The LotR movies are ranker #1, 3 and 4. Citizen Kane is not in the top 10, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is. Shichinen no Samurai is not in the top 10, Finding Nemo is.

Now, you may rank movies on scale ranging from Rambo to LotR, but that makes you ignorant, not me.

that list isnt bad....everyone has different taste of course. i would knock some off and add some others but most of those that i see are good films. maybe not in that order but good films nonetheless

if someone who is an authority on the quality of how a movie is produced tells me that a movie is great based on the techinical aspect, or the fact that there is great talent or vision means that Im automatically gonna say its a great movie is ridiculous. I may think its horrible. Everyone looks for something different in a movie. it may contain all the above mentioned aspects in their best form and I may still hate it. its all about the opinion of the movie goer!

Great list - I love the fact that the last two releases of StarWars and Matrix are not present - the panel/committee has good taste.

You may enjoy watching Ernest Goes To Camp, but if you consider it to be the best movie ever and vote it a 10 on imdb you're an idiot. Likewise, I really like the Bouncing Souls - a punk group - yet I have the intelligence to see that on a musical level, they are simply not as good as the Beatles or Mozart.

I'm actually amazed at how un-girly this list is. Most of the girls I've gone out with didn't have nearly such good taste in flicks. My ex's favorite movies all have Tim Allen or Meg Ryan in them. :disgust :helpme
