Has anyone gotten a mean or weird icq from me recently?
 

Suddenly today I'm getting a lot of people asking me about icqs being sent to them with rude messages in them.

I'm wondering if my icq got hacked?

has anyone else received any icqs from me in the last 2-3 days that seem weird?

That would really be deserving of an ass whooping if someone hacked your ICQ and was doing that.

You'd think that if somebody hacked your ICQ, they'd change the password too.

Any chance you left it logged in through the web some where? Practical joker?

no kidding - i got icqs today from PK and sarah webinc - both people I trust and respect hugly - telling me i sent them icqs calling them nasty names - something I'd never do.

i'm wondering if there were any others?

Sleazy has never been anything but very nice to me..hence why I thought I should let him know. He is a good hugger too :)

I wondered that too which is why i posted the thread yesterday asking for him to icq me so I could compare the numbers and they are the same.

I'm sure Sleazy is a very nice guy in person, even if I've never met him. However, the fact still remains that he's stepped on quite a few toes around here and some people just can't deal with message board pissing. Plus, I'm sure there could be a little bit of envy involved as well. Anyway, if he considered getting off his high horse and try to appear more human, I'm sure he'd have a lot less grief to worry about. After all, there are people who are bigger idiots than Sleazy wants to appear and they'll act accordingly.

I heard about this before ... so yes I'm pretty sure tech it can be done.

hmmm ok, well then it's safe to assume someone hacked his account. Sleazy you should change your password ASAP if you haven't done so yet. Perhaps you have spyware or a keylogger on your system that retrieved that password?
