Love the people I've worked for and learned from. Love the challenge, love the ability to see near instant results of hard work.

Dislike things that are not in my circle of control. Dislike the very addictive nature of certain tasks. And something could be said about the hours. :winkwink:

I love being able to pick up and go at a moments notice if I have to and not worry about having to inform some "Boss" or "Manager".

I cant really think of anything I hate about the job other than the fact that I work so much I dont have alot of time for personal projects I'd like to complete on the side.

I love the fact that compared to most other business everything you make here is under your control. Wanna make more, it's up to you. There's not a lot of ifs or maybes here. Traffic = cash.

got to take classes to expand my creativity
the cons:
your a mark for the right wing
with third party processors you really have no control over alot of things which is very annoying.

Your really not a pornographer you sell advertising.

work for yourself, get up when you want, work as hard as you want etc etc = love it.

don't have to get up and wipe the snow off my frozen car to go sit in traffic is another upside for me.

love the money, hate having so much time on my hands any more and really dislike most the back stabbing people.

I love the flexible hours. But as was mentioned earlier, I hate the stigma attached with it.

Gladly I respect you and your business but its not porn, its advertising. I wish I went that route alot less bullshit. lol

Well I haven't yet reached the point where I can really brag on the pros as I'm not yet (operative word) to the point where I can quit my regular job and do this full time yet. However one of the biggest things I look forward to is the ability to do my work from whereever I may be, as long as there is a computer connection.

The worst thing (besides the extra hours I put into my sites after long hours at work) is the bitching and complaining from the wife. As I am having to do tis part time, I do tend to put as many hours in as possible to get this thing going. She understands the end result I'm after, but she isn't really into doing with a lot of scarfices as of yet. Let me get a few checks in, maybe that will change her mind a little.

I love being a "good guy" in a tough as nails business. I hate that I didn't start a few years sooner.

sometimes i hate this biz but most of the time i love it.
pros:
freedom! its up to me to take the time to work, if i have to i can take off, if i need to pull an all nighter, i can.

basically an unlimited earning potential. once again, if i want to make the big bucks i can work my ass off and ideally do it. not get small salary increases over years

i like not having to worry about how i look or having to deal directly with people. it always seemed i never fit in where i would work, so working by myself seems to work.

not having to commute to work is a big one. i was almost always late and had to speed like a motherfucker to get there at a decent time. working from home saves my car and points on my license.

i can crank my stereo, wear nothing but my boxers (or nothing at all if i see fit) and make more money than the majority of the population.

cons:
no guarenteed income, if sales don't come, no money.

shaving, downtime, joe jobs, etc. just general affiliate/internet bullshit.

worries about bullshit laws and corporate takeover of this biz.

can get boring/lonely working by yourself from home every day for years.


i should say this is basically the only job i've ever had. sure i've had other jobs but they never lasted more than 3 months aside from the job i had in highschool. been doing this since i was 20, its the only thing i really know.

i just wanted to add that even though a lot of you hate the stigma of porn, if it weren't for that we'd be swamped with 100x more 'webmasters' who all though they could make the next big thing.

if someone doesn't like me because i make porn sites, it makes me happy. happy because it saves me the time i might of wasted on that person who is obviously some kind of self-righteous, judgemental, closed minded person.

I feel your pain bro and I really hope you do well soon. Thats some dangerous pressure to deal with in the household.

I hate that a majority think they are a "Player" and got lots of paper.
It's kinda silly really and far from the truth. Only a few are blazingly wealthy and only a handful are "Rich".

Thing I love about the biz is pretty simple.
I can make my own rules and it allows me to explore my limits.

I doubt Walmart could do that or any other job cept maybe being a politician.

I used to love U.S. currency exchange in Canada.

Now I hate it.

I love hanging around with cool webmasters that i learned alot, ofcourse the money and girls i meet and i hate people who are too high minded.

loved the money. that's about it.

Hate: Not being around people much. No guaranteed money.

Love: watching porn all day and making money.

Woman will always find something to complain about its in there nature.

Work hard to get ahead in life if she doesnt support your hard work to be successful you need to rethink it all because she wont change infact it will probably get worse. Marrage is a partnership
