So now we know what the big DOS threat was from Gonzo and Joesho. They begged and begged Nick to give them Oprano, and finally they kissed enough ass and hugged enough trees to convince Nick he should stay home and play video games with his family.

I have visited all the boards. I have never found such losers as Gonzo & his kiss-ass buddy Joesho in charge of a pornboard. Poor Poor Poor Oprano!

The place never had good backing, Censorship was rampant, the info was biased to the latest sponsor showing thier tits. Overall discussions were always quite boring, off topic, lacking drama, lacking good spam, lacking characters and personalities. Over all it was always way to conservative for my liking akin to cheap small talk over coffee.

Honestly...

Joe needs to drop Gonzo, buy a domain from me and start over with a new property. Better yet forget about openning a board, he needs to harness what he has right now a board is a pure distraction that can possibily short change Earl Miller. Boards generally serve no purpose unless thier is a good viewer ship that keeps perpetual interest.
How GFY does it, has probably been thought through by hundreds, attempted by hundreds and analysed by hundreds of webmasters trying to figure out the drive that GFY does.

Boards are not easy, they are nasty places tough to run, tough to brand, tough to pull all the elements together that great a community with a diverse view points.

Nick, I was never a big poster. You are a follower. You go with the majority. If someone wants an objective point of view, they are advised to stay away from you.

PS: Microchick ya oughtah make GFY yer new home, it is not subject to bias and I have to admit I get alot of business on GFY. Far more than any other adult webmaster community. Serge took Oprano and was number one until GFY opened its doors and attracted all the porn kids.

Now what do we have left on Oprano...a bunch of has-beens who are afraid to go against Gonzo & Joesho, so they have sold their souls to Satan.

GFY was called "The other Place" or "That Board" or even "Word in the board community". AVN and XBIZ used the term quite often but were sure to never really mention GFY openly and to this day get thier news via cut and paste for print for the most part to catch whats the latest buzz.
GFY was the place that everyone denied to get information from, GFY was the bastard child that everyone hated or tried to hate and never mention.

Alien, I have a long history with you since the Netpond days. I agree that Lens is a good man. So is Brad Shaw. I tease LAJ and Bob, but YNOT is a good board, though a little too conservative for me.

There are many smaller boards that I like. However, Serge allowed Oprano to go to the hackers and the nobodys. He wanted attention. He is a crazy person on the boards. He allowed his ego to take over, and he sold out when he became more interested in traveling and drinking wine. (His marriage calmed him down. That is a good thing.)

And JFK, why do I care? I really don't give a fuck about Oprano. I just want the world to know what a shitty place it has become. Advertisers should invest their time and money in GFY and the other boards where there are owners who don't cheat and bullshit you.

Serge did what Serge does best.

What is it you do? Take pictures that are sub-level. Most of your pictures are covered with logo bullshit. It's fun to mix it up over there with Pornodoggy sometimes, and the convo on most threads is somewhat different from here at good ol' GFY.... usually. I enjoy reading and posting on Oprano, yes, as well as porncity, JBM, DMPM (Fletch & Cherry's board), GG&J's from time to time, Cozy campus, Xnations and about a half dozen other boards.

But by far the bulk of my posts are made right here.

Loki, you are right about one thing.....as Serge was responsible for helping create the Confucy Monster, I am responsible for creating Gonzo The Loser. Without my help, Gonzo would still be a rabbit fur nobody....not that he is a somebody now, but he has become an Oprano board owner because of me.
