Mirko "Cro Cop" the best MMA fighter [videos]

I really don't see him ever losing another fight. He is seriously in his own league.

The most devastating kicks I've ever seen.

penzo 12-29-2005 07:37 AM

you're damn right he is the best!!

XJ Man 12-29-2005 08:43 AM

He has a new fight on the 1st. I'll be ordering it on PPV. Wanderlei Silva will be fighting too

dunefield 12-29-2005 08:50 AM

You mean Fedor is the best MMA fighter...

QuaWee 12-29-2005 09:08 AM

he's the best fighter in his weight class.

Watch some Genki Sudo and Gomi fights and let me know what you think :-)

Screaming 12-29-2005 09:18 AM

those kicks, jesus. that guy would kick your head off.

Very true. I've seen a few sudo and gomi fights, I like both of them too. I think Diego Sanchez from the Ultimate Fighter season 1 has the potential to be a top contender in his weight class, especially after the beating he put on Nick Diaz

Bman 12-29-2005 11:58 AM

I have always been a huge boxing fan, but lately after watching Pride and Ultimate I really like this stuff. These guys are awesome. Mirko is lethal with his legs. Shit!

Martin3 12-29-2005 12:13 PM

He's not the best, but still pretty damn good.

Got to get by this guy if you want to be the best HW :winkwink:

I agree with that, mirko still needs to work a bit more on his ground but he has the most amazing kick i've ever seen.

XJ Man 12-29-2005 01:24 PM

Do you think UFC should allow knees and kicks to the head while they're down on the groud like Pride does?

Wow the slam in the 3rd video should of broke Fedor's neck. I've seen that fight before and in slow motion the slam is sick nasty.

Temp1 12-29-2005 02:03 PM

Arlovski vs. Fedor would be a good one

Damn Damn Damn Damn

pornguy 12-29-2005 02:15 PM

that is one of the things that cracks me up about these fights. they wont let them fight out of the class.

I have worked out with some guys less than half his size, that would drop him in under 30 seconds.

LMAO if you believe that you truly know nothing about fighting. he'll have MANY more losses on his record before his fighting days are over.

agreed... crocop really needs a break... his last 2 fights have been really disappointing... if it wasn't for the 2 takedowns and those solid hits in the 3'rd round i think barnett would've won the fight...

hopefully next year he'll take some time off...

I've worked out with Gracies, and I can't say that. Who is this super deluxe superman you're talking about?

this guy must be the toughest guy in the world. by a factor of 10. I'm really curious who it is, I want to pay for all his training and have him take on Fedor, Crocop and Rodrigo Nogeira all at the same time. Especially if he's only 110 lbs and can drop Cro in under 30 seconds, WOW what a guy!!

He must be bulletproof and firebreathing huh?

and you know more than one? GUYS as in plural? WOWOWOW! Where do you train? Krypton?

Every serious sanctioned fighting incorporates weight classes. The UFC originally did not, but changing to a class based system was part of the required changes to legitimize MMA fighting.

You can't change the laws of physics and you don't know any magicians that can. Size and strength are always a factor. They might not be as important as training and skill, but it certainly factors in. A 200 pound man will always beat an equally trained 100 pound man. That's just the way it goes.

no i used sakuraba as an example of a middleweight fighting heavyweights...

but i agree with what the others said... weight makes a huge difference... do you really think someone like bj penn or gomi can take on crocop? NO CHANCE!!!

No, they don't allow them in the UFC because of the cage. If you get your head pinned against the cage and some one knees/kicks you in the head it can be pretty brutal.

In the ring your head has somewhere to go(outside the ropes), they also restart in the center of the ring when they're on the ground against the ropes, not true with the cage and UFC.

100% pure bullshit :321GFY

2 equally trained guys = bigger guy wins everytime

Only time size doesn't matter is when there's no skill involved

I don't think its up to them, I think its the state that they are hosting the fights.

Always is a bit too much man. The bigger fighter has more of an advantage, but fights always have a chance of going either way.

Anthony 12-29-2005 09:42 PM

In BJJ, we have an unwritten law.

For every 20lbs you have on someone, they must have a belt level to counteract.

Anyone who thinks size and strength doesn't matter on equally trained individuals have never been in a real fight.

Alvaro 12-29-2005 09:54 PM

minotauro kicked his ass twice
