For the webmasters who are in serious relationships does your girlfriend or boyfriend know how much you make? I assume for the webmasters that are married your spouse knows how much you make.

my last two gf's knew that I was well... i always kept it VERY low with them

No, my bf doesnt know the exact amount even tho we live together, he thinks I make less than I really do. I don't make a lot (compared to all the millionaires on gfy), but I make more than enough to support both of us, and I'm afraid if he knows the amount I make he will quit his job for sure and stay home. He'll think there's no need for him to go to work, and he'll want to stay home, he's always talking about quitting his job.

He actually wants to quit work now, he thinks its not fair for him to go to work while I stay home and make much more, he thinks I'm being unfair by "making" him work. He knows I make more but he doesn't know by how much, it's a big difference, by more than 10x, but he doesn't know that. I don't want him to know either.

No, I don't hide them, I'm so lazy I don't even open them, I always check my bank statement on-line. He's not nosy so he doesn't go through my stuff. I'm always home everyday as well so I'm always here, he doesn't get a chance to look at them, plus he respects my privacy so he just doesn't look. I don't have to "hide" anything.

No, that's not really correct, I just want him to pay his share of the rent, I don't feel like I have to pay for everything, plus I don't like the idea of supporting anybody. I feel that is already enough that I pay most of the bills, all I ask is that he pay his share of the rent.

A lot of girls are gold diggers these days and expect the guy to pay for them, I feel that I already do more than enough because I pay for MORE than my half , but he has to pay for SOME, I refuse to support someone 100%. I already do MORE than my half PLUS I help him out a lot with a lot of stuff already. I am already paying fore MORE than half, it's not fair if I have to pay for everything, he's not a child you know.

Anyways, its not lies, he already knows I make more, he just doesn't know the EXACT amount, it's not necessary for him to know down to the exact dollar, it's no ones business but my own.

Geeze, if you're going to lie about something as inconsequential in life as money, what else will you lie about? It's pieces of paper with dead people printed on it. Anyone I've dated, family or friends of mine who have ever asked how much money I make/have/made/don't have/etc. will always be given the correct answer. Money is one of the last things I think of when I consider my wealth. It's below the pugs even :)

Yes, of course he does. We share everything, including the money we both make. You can't have a serious relationship without disclosing such trivial things like income.
