One of my best friends are in Syria studying at the university I was supposed to go visit him for 2 weeks in May.

He often comes at the embassy cause he knows one of the people working there very well.

Some of these countries are barely in power and seem to think they can do what ever they please. Now a terrorist organization - who's core belief is the destruction of another country - is in power. The US has a long term standing policy of never dealing with terrorists. The ironic part is the US gives financial aid to Palenstine..... Which is most likely to be cut off. I predict the entire area will be a disaster in less than a year.

The protests and the boycotts had my total support. But the idiots that did this, took it too far.

I realize that this is a small group of individuals that decided to push the issue too far. But they need to learn that they are making the decent people look like shit and perpetuating the stereo-type.

Norways embassy has been burn down now. At the moment they are on the way to burn down the France embassy.

French embassy was next on the list. Police is keeping the crowd away with water canons right now.

They have a right to protest PEACEFULLY in any form they want. They do not have to purchase Danish products.

Burning Flags, screaming chants, marching down the street, refusing to purchase a the products made from a particular country and even shaking your fist.

All acceptable forms of protest.

Burning buildings, hurting people, blowing stuff up, flying planes into buildings, etc.

NOT acceptable forms of protest.

For the record....

I support the right of the ORIGIONAL printing of the cartoons.

But like British Foriegn Secretary Jack Straw and the United States goverment. I do NOT support the reprinting of the comics by the other newspapers. That was just antagonizm.

The problem in this case is that Syria (who have a massive millitary/army) did nothing to prevent the rioters from going the 5km's from the danish embassy to the Norwegian. And thats why Denmark are closing all diplomatic connections whit Syria and Norway considering to do the same.

Pure craziness. Maybe someone should start burning down their shit.
