My Paxil CR Withdrawal Update ..........................
 

I have been at 37.5 mg's for long ass time..........

Last 7 days dipped to 25 mg , so far i have experienced the chills and sweats at night....and a mild headache hear and there.... been waking up with my t shirt drenchedin sweat and also having strange dreams/nightmares....

Tomorrow i dip another level down to 12.5 mg....

My doctor was talking about changing me from paxil to something else. I bought up about coming off of it, which is funny they nothing about that part when they put you on it. She said some people for the rest of their lives have to crush a paxil and put alittle of it on their tongue. Thats very fucked up, paxil has been so good to me dont think I would ever go off. Even though I have been hit by a host of side effects.

I was trapped in a hotel in Lima when it hit me. I had no idea what was going on. I awoke one night in the midst of an all-out conversation with someone, I thought it was real, but somehow I shook out of it and realized I was sitting on my bedside drenched in sweat, all alone.

I had a ticket booked for Rio in 3 days, I had to cancel it.

Sometimes, I would stand up and just collapse due to vertigo. I would think the ground to be farther or closer.

And that was just the start. Thankfully, there are more than enough websites dedicated to the symptoms and huge class-action; otherwise, i would never have figured it out and would have no basis for anyone to believe me.

These withdrawl stories are crazy. I've been taking it for 4 years and gone on and off it dozens of times. Never had anything worse than the shits.

I absolutely hate mood enhancers like this. They royally fuck too many people up to be worth giving out at all.

I am a tough guy, and I have put more than a few things in my body.

But that withdrawl was shocking. I should be thankful however, I buried myself in my room and wrote the first chapter of my novel. It fell off my fingers perfectly.

I don't see how people deal with it. I read that if you have a family and job, you should leave both and be isolated with a phone in your hand.

I take a low dosage - 10mg. My shrink always warned against going off them, but I've been off for weeks, days, months at a time. Its probably fucking with my head, but I haven't noticed.

luckily i have had only the chills and nightmares dreams so far......the next few days when i dip down again in dosage ill see if the symptoms get worse and if new symsptoms start

Oh and just for the record, those little things have been an absolute godsend for me. Fuck the haters.

Well, obviously, some of it is body dynamic. Sounds like you just don't get as effected and that is a good thing.

As for me....

I was misdiagnosed as having panic attacks, when I actually had asthma. I was given the prescription for Paxil, although I was very hesitant. However, I loved it after week one. They say you can lose your sex drive, but mine multiplied 10 fold, plus it gave me a little rush.

But I was totally uneducated. The first withdrawl I ever had, I was crashing in my friends guest room. I hadn't taken any for two days (the weekend). I woke up standing in my boxers on his steps stairing at the TV and him saying, "what are you doing man? Are you sleep walking?"

I am not sure what I was doing. But I had hideous nightmares that night.

And to add on to that story, I didn't know it was a withdrawl, I though I just had a bad night.

Glaxo is the company behind AZT drug for aids/hiv treatment. Do a research on how it was approved and what it actually does to human body and you'll see.

i didnt take my paxil for like 36 hrs then it hit me HARD........ my head hurt like a bitch , dizziness, nauseau....i popped one and had to ly down

The prescribe it quickly and try to convince people it is a solution, when it really is not.

I had asthma and they convinced me it was anxiety attacks, think about that one.

But I know people who rely on those meds. Juicy, once you are fully off, your body will feel a lot better.
