You other guys too busy jerking too Tawnee and Jordan to comment?

Bama 04-14-2007 11:23 AM

Steve,

I think I found an :error but would like to acquire more information prior to officially reporting it.

If you'll set up an account with $20,000.00 worth of credits, I'll tirelessly chase down that bug!

I don't care if I have to watch every single movie over and over to try and replicate it so it can be fixed!

Just make sure now that some webmasters don't get overexcited and think you're licensing out your videos..as it looks like a contentstore :)

That is a good point. We are NOT selling content to webmasters!!! I won't make that mistake again.

This will become a replacement to low cost trials on all our join pages.

lulu36 04-14-2007 12:23 PM

good work. it looks great. too many girls to choose from, that should be the only complaint you hear.

Altheon 04-14-2007 02:41 PM

Are people able to save the videos they purchase to their hard drives or is there some sort of DRM?

Nope, no DRM. Download and watch locally whenever you want. Why make things more diffficult?

Jace 04-14-2007 04:00 PM

Hey Steve, this is an EXCELLENT idea...I had mentioned something like this on gfy like a year ago...my idea was WAY more elaborate, but I essentially said i think this is an excellent way that paysites need to gear towards...no recurring, no per sign up, just a flat fee per download

I eventually would love to do an entire paysite like that, with photo and video, where the user sets up an "account" and the members area is always public, once you wanna see stuff you pay per "thing" you want to see....diary and stuff like that will be free, then when they wanna see a full photo set or a video, they pay per item.....wanna see the dial up video? $3...wanna see the broadband video? $5....wanna see the HD video? $8....etc etc...same with photos and shit

wow, I am drunk and rambling

RawAlex 04-14-2007 04:52 PM

I guess my only question is this: Are you trading dollars (memberships) for pennies (downloads)?

fris 04-14-2007 04:53 PM

nice feature :)

Imortyl Pussycat 04-14-2007 04:56 PM

looks great :thumbsup way to go team!

Would you rather buy a hit song of iTunes, or join the Columbia "CD of the Month" club?

> Don't you ever get tired of making new stuff?

Hardly. He copied it from http://www.pinkisbeautiful.com/downloads/ including the what's new section. And that lesbian site also has a credit system/tokens in place that was demoded in favor of membership. At some point users will realize that a full membership is far more bang for their buck. The same will happen on this "store".

Why make it look like you are innovating when you are only copying?

dude, it is an out of the box ecommerce app, I am thinking oscommerce or xcart

millions of sites use each, the template/style is just something that comes with it

btw, what paysite are the pinkisbeautiful movies from? steves stuff is all from his paysites, I can't find any paysites that pinkisbeautiful is from

S.L.L.D 04-14-2007 06:40 PM

He knows what I am talking about. Those same exact video thumbnails were used in that store in the first version. Same thing. If you don't know what you are talking about just stay out.

That site also used the osCommerce application and managed to create something different to anything that was out there. So same software but copied noone. Now here is the copycat. Show me another osCommerce application doing the SAME EXACT thing.

Care to expand? who says anything about the content??

Martina Warren 04-14-2007 07:09 PM

I've never seen "pinkisbeautiful.com", but I also never claimed to be the first to do anything. I like the idea of an ala carte store, and we found that oscommerce was already built to do what we wanted. So why reinvent the wheel?

All the content is our original content. All the scenes are available in wmv, mov, 3g2, mp4 formats, and include a zip file full of screencaps. I don't see any of these things in pinkisbeautiful.com, so what exactly is your complaint?

well, since the concept is to use paysite content available per scene in downloadable format, PER SCENE, then I think the concept is completely about "the content"

the whole business model is paysite CONTENT being available PER DOWNLOAD for each CONTENT scene

if you are just talking about scenes for download and no paysites involved, there are people that have been doing that for YEARS now...but this is about paysites making their scenes available on a per download basis

he used pinkisbeautiful thumbs for lightspeed content? well, that just doesn't make any sense....

I am not going to do YOUR research for you, but there are plenty of sites offering scenes for download, whether or not they use oscommerce is a silly point

Ace_luffy 04-14-2007 07:21 PM

nice stufff....:)

tony286 04-14-2007 07:22 PM

Steve do you think it will take away from your monthly memberships? It looks great, best of luck with it.

tony286 04-14-2007 07:23 PM

I wonder since its not a recurring membership, can you use a regular merchant account for a site like that? Would save a shit load of money.

I really don't think so. If anything, I expect it to replace low-cost trials and create more interest in our monthly memberships. I also like this platform to test the marketability of new models, as we are in process of building a large new studio and plan to start recruiting heavily soon.

you can use a regular merchant account for a paysite....and you can use a merchant account for digital products...so, I am confused...LOL

BJ 04-14-2007 07:27 PM

Interesting... would like to offer this on my thank you pages

Go4LiveCash 04-14-2007 09:19 PM

Excellent offer to surfers if they need a quick 5minute fix for their bulge in the pants. Are those clips the surfer can download DRM protected or can the surfer freely share them on P2P?
We have to look into that as well for Vivian and all the other cam models models. Is that pretty much a standard version of osCommerce shopping cart or highly modified?

JP
