Headed to Vegas, What are the MUST SEE things?
End of June me and a couple buddies are headed to vegas for a few days. Just want to know what are the things we have to do while down there, for the most part we arent going to have any plans at all.
Thinking about staying at the Monte Carlo, although been told Palms and Hardrock are where all the chicks are. I have been told we have to go to Tao at least once, and hit up Spearment Rhino and Lil Darlings too. We wanted to see Cique Du Soleil "O" but at 240 a seat my buddies cant afford it. So anything we should know to do befor we go? |
No offense to anyone that may be associated, but Lil Darlings in Vegas is nothing like the others around the country, and they don't serve alcohol!
The Rhino is a good bet. There are hot chicks where ever there is a club, Caesars- Pure Mirage- Jet Treasure Island- Tangerine Hard Rock - Rehab (Sunday afternoon pool party, its off the fuckin hook) Palms - "everywhere" MGM- Studio 54 Wynn - Tryst Barbary Coast - Dre's (after Hours) Empire Ballroom - After Hours Too many to keep going. If $240 is a big nut for your buddies, you'd better go clubbing without them. All the clubs that are any good, are expensive as hell. Even the Pool Lounges have a cover. ("O" is a killer show though) End of June is "Hot Ass Summmertime" so things may be a little cheaper, but not the clubs. Don't mean to plug my blog, but I usually have a weekend update on what's happening, what DJ's are in town, and some club promo's. The only thing you should know is, if you are on a budget and want to party, don't gamble, save your money for the clubs, and some good meals. You will enjoy your trip a lot better if you aren't broke on Saturday Night. There is a ton of shit to do, and you definitely want to do a good pool lounge, or the one at the Monte' isn't bad. All the tail is at the pools during the day. |
strip clubs..

Check out the Forty-Duece at Mandalay Bay- The Hotel, late at night, and also check out http://www.vegas.com/nightlife/index.html before you go.
|
oh yeah, tell your buddies to be ready to blow 400-500 each in a night easy if you want to do anything worth while...
|

Venus- Cesar's Palace The Beach - Mandalay Bay There are a few more, some are "Tops Optional". These you can get in by paying a cover, and are separate from the "free" pool for hotel gusts. Most others require you to be a guest, unless there is a designated event open to the public. Cover into a Pool Lounge is still around $20-$30 for guys, depending on if it's topless. |

I have seen many bands down there for free...didn't even know they were playing.:thumbsup |

I think:
Bare- Mirage is tops optional (cover is $30) Mandalay bay has a tops optional pool, but I don't know what its called. Caesars Palace has always had one, The Palms has a new pool that I am pretty sure is optional, but for many of them you have to be a guest, to cut down of the "8 guys in one room at the motel 6 walking around for a free gawk, and making the hotel guests uncomfortable" traffic. |

If anywhere does that, then whereever had the hottest chicks. We arent big drinkers so not drinking for the while that we are there wouldnt be a problem. Quote:
I was thinking 50-70 a day for supper and lunch. Plus 100 a day for covers, and then 100 on drinks. Each. Is most of that money on drinks for yourself and ladies or what? |
I've never been to vegas, but damn it sounds expensive if you want to go out to the clubs and stuff. Whats their prices on mixed drinks or beers usually?
|
there are more women at the monte carlo then the palms and hardrock combined..hardrock is for sure the sausage capital of vegas..with palms a close second..
|
there are hot chicks everywhere in vegas..going to the most popular clubs will get you 0 chance of getting any action if you have no money same with the over populated pool clubs, you should only do those if you have your own party with you..hit the center bars at the popular hotels..better chance of picking up girls there or at least getting a good deal on a hooker by wearing her down all night.
of course if you are awestruck by long lines and crowded areas, go waste your time at those clubs..more fun to be had just walking the strip and hanging out and getting hammered in vegas.. people watching is probably the best in the world here. |
Cirque show - I've seen KA, and O there and both are incredible - looking at the Cirque site I see seats as low as $102.
The Bellagio fountains I took my son to the Stratosphere 3 years ago and we rode all the rides and had a BLAST :) Cheesy but fun! |

My one buddy wants to try and hook up with a chick while down there, but he is way to shy and scared of talking to women. Even when loaded. Thats why having the strippers pull him on stage at lil darlings would be all to funny for everyone but him. At least he is a good sport and doesnt get pissed at being embarrased. Center Bars... I am assuming these are the bars that are just on the gaming floor right? I wouldnt mind meeting a few chicks to hang out with while down there, just to make sure its not always 3 guys together, lol. I'd rent a couple.. but might get pricy, lol. I should probably bring button up or at least golf type shirts with a colar for the bars and clubs. Hope nice jeans are ok though. Or will I be ok style wise with jeans and a t shirt in vegas? |
For some reason all the hotels are on sale this weekend in Vegas

breakfast, who eats breakfast? - $0.00 lunch (buffet) - $25-$30 dinner - $25-$35 if you're eating at the cafes in the casinos clubs - $30-$35 cover charge + 1 - 2 hour wait in line min -- $75-$100 per head if you want to grease security to get passed the line, might come w/ cover, might not regular drinks are like 8-9 bucks each, bottled water is 5 bucks then if you're buying drinks for females, shots, etc... keep adding its better to come over-prepared than not if you're visiting is all i'm saying :) |

and a kick ass brownie sundae..:) where you located at tical? im in henderson off stephine |
Yes, the Vegas Strip is expensive.
Don't think you can have a "ballers" weekend on a budget. You can get a booth reservation at many of the clubs, if you pay in advance, and show up on time, usually like 10 or so to keep your res. |
hard rock and palms are where i go to gamble and i am a girl so i am sure other girls are there as well. this is where my girlfriends and i always hang out.
the rooms at the skylofts at the mgm are EPIC. do a buffet at the mirage. get a dance at olympic gardens. |

what a trip |
Go to the old section of Vegas and walk just a few blocks away from the Piedmont Experience (that giant covered area where they have the light shows). It becomes no man's land very quickly. We were trying to get TA some bud last time we were there and wound up almost getting mugged, a few times!
:Oh crap |
