Why? I'm not saying anything bad about the soldiers that died...it sucks that they died for whatever reason you want to say. I personally have not heard about any Canadian Military Forces doing anything in my lifetime, so I think it is funny to say what I said.

Our "barely existent" military takes on a lot of the thankless shit jobs nobody else will take...mopping up after everyone else's mess.

Korea, Bosnia, Cypress - and now Afghanistan...just to name a few.

We were also among the first on the beaches in Normandy.

That's a good question...I wouldn't want to live anywhere else but at the same time I don't agree with all the decisions that are made by our leaders. I know you're probably looking for me to throw out a simple "Yes" so you can throw in your rebuttal but...it's just not a yes/no question to me.

I was only implying that I cannot remember a time when I heard of the Canadian Military Forces being involved in anything in my lifetime....that's it that's why I find what I said to be funny. You Canadians have obviously hear of any and all military actions that have been made...
