Colts vs. Pats

Who do you think is going to the win the Colts vs. Patriots game this weekend?

Do you think that they will play again in the AFC Championship Game?

Do you think that one of them will win the Super Bowl?

Scott McD 11-02-2007 11:50 AM

New England to win again !

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 11-02-2007 11:57 AM

New England has the better defense...have to with the Pats this week.

ADG

axelcat 11-02-2007 12:24 PM

The colts win, time of possesion is key, manning will control the game and keep brady off the field.

Vitasoy 11-02-2007 10:54 PM

Pats will win by 7.. but should be a good one.

Spunky 11-02-2007 10:57 PM

Pats by 10

Snake Doctor 11-02-2007 10:57 PM

New England is going to beat down Indy.

It's not going to be close like people think.

It may be close early, but NE's defense will stop Manning on some drives, whily Indy won't be able to stop NE at all.
The Patriots are trying to make a statement. Ever since spygate and people talking shit about how they won 3 superbowls by 3 points each and it's probably because they cheated, they're making it a point to totally demolish every opponent this year.
Indy will be no different.

VeriSexy 11-02-2007 11:00 PM

Pats will win

starpimps 11-02-2007 11:01 PM

i am taking indy moneyline

You're gonna be crying just like Peyton Manning on Sunday.

Actually it's just fun talking shit and I really do hope it's a good game. Great teams aren't fun to watch unless they have rivals, like the Celtics and the Lakers, Cowboys and 49ers etc.

I don't think it's gonna be close though, the Pats are on the warpath. :2 cents:

TampaToker 11-02-2007 11:40 PM

We all know how two hi scoring offenses games turn out Indy 17 - Pats 14

Pats of course.

NTSS 11-03-2007 09:33 PM

the pats haven't been tested. they really haven't beaten any truely good defensive teams...im taken the colts by 6. 28 to 34

Sure they have, the problem is that once the Pats are done with your team, your defense doesn't have a very high rank anymore.

Washington had the #5 ranked defense against the pass before they played the Pats. They lost 52-7.
After that game they no longer had the #5 ranked defense. :1orglaugh

NaughtyRob 11-03-2007 10:31 PM

Fuck em all. The Steelers will win the AFC and the Superbowl.

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 02:45 PM

Wow the Colts are pumped the fuck up for this one. About to be 4th and goal for the Colts right now, 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter.

I may end up eating some crow on this one.....but there's still alot of football left to play.

g$$$ 11-04-2007 02:51 PM

COLTS 3-0!! woo hoo

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 02:51 PM

Awesome heads up play by Asante Samuel.

He knew he was beat and the Colts would get a touchdown so he tackles the receiver inside the 5 and takes the pass interference penalty.

Then the Pats D comes up big and holds the Colts to 3.

If this game ends up being close that's going to be a HUGE play by Samuel.

sublimed 11-04-2007 02:51 PM

I pray randy moss gets hurt by sanders.

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:02 PM

Touchdown, Brady to Moss.

The Pats just ran over the Colts on that drive.
Both teams seem to be playing a nickel back just about every down, which is making the run easy for both teams. BUT the Pats were able to shut the Colts down in the red zone the 1st time.

Will be interesting to see what kind of adjustments they make. Bringing in the 3rd LB will help against the run, but they're all scared of getting burned deep.

axelez 11-04-2007 03:04 PM

IF the colts don't double cover moss it going to be a blowout

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:10 PM

I only have 37 posts to go to hit 10K so I'm gonna live blog on the game in this thread until I hit 10K :pimp

It'll be good practice for my next career as a sportcenter analyst :1orglaugh

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:12 PM

I really wish that Harrison and Ugoh weren't out of this game....if the Pats win Colts fans have that as their excuse for losing.

Of course if the Colts win today then there's no question who the best team in the NFL is

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:13 PM

Oh man that was a total bullshit pass interference call against Ellis Hobbs...if anything that should have been pass interference against the offense.

Hobbs had him beat the whole way and didn't put a hand on him

sublimed 11-04-2007 03:15 PM

he turned into him and cut his route off and made contact with him... pretty sure it was the right call

Dude you said earlier that you hoped Moss got injured by Harrison, yours isn't exactly an objective voice here.

Hobbs has the same right to go for the ball as the receiver...he never laid a hand on him, he turned to go for the ball, and was literally tackled by the receiver.
It should have been intereference against the Colts. That was a home team call all the way

sublimed 11-04-2007 03:22 PM

no bob sanders.. not harrison. but any contact can be considered interference.

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:24 PM

Moss is just awesome. I forgot how good he was, figured he was washed up....but I haven't seen a receiver dominate a game the way he does since 1998 when......Randy Moss did it.

No, this isn't the 1980's....incidental contact is allowed if they're both going for the ball....they were both going for the ball. (Except the receiver decided to tackle Hobbs as he was falling)

I realize that you're a Colts fan here but c'mon, even Ray Charles could see that was a questionable call at best.

Zuzana Designs 11-04-2007 03:28 PM

I'm going colts

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:34 PM

Damn, that was a bad throw by Brady, too much air under the ball.

You can't throw jumpballs like that to Stallworth, only to Moss.

sublimed 11-04-2007 03:36 PM

I definitely say that call could of not been called, but i don't think it would of ever been called the other way (offensive interference).

sublimed 11-04-2007 03:37 PM

addai is the next barry sanders

starpimps 11-04-2007 03:38 PM

LOL i love live betting

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:39 PM

Wow great run, awesome vision and way to keep going when he was obviously out of gas. I thought he was going to jump out of bounds so they could get a FG....gutsy move cutting back in to get the TD.

Edgerrin who?

smutnut 11-04-2007 03:46 PM

I think the officials have money on this game:mad:

Snake Doctor 11-04-2007 03:55 PM

Pats get the ball the start the 2nd half. I think it'll be a 3 point game in short order.

Oops, I was thinking it was 13-3 for some reason.

I think the Pats definitely score on this opening drive though
