So, there's this guy... Olivier Hufkens. He runs a site called Crucified Women, where he uses pics without permission. A dark site based on stealing peoples' graphics. We had a run-in a while back, when he was using my affiliate program but using unauthorized images from my sites.

Anyhow, I got CC on the following email... From him to Dark Dollars, CCing a bunch of gothic webmaster...

Pretty much all of his stuff is crap. He also told me once that he is in trouble, accused of kiddy porn...

anyone else who has a problem with our exit consoles, simply build your own tour and send directly to the join page and voila, no consoles....we're going to start paying on console sales in the next few weeks.

If you don't feel creative and want to just copy our tour to your own server and remove the console code, by all means go ahead (just email me first). I'll make sure to check your linking code and ensure you're still sending to the right join page to get credit for your sales.

I apologize that an affilaite of ours caused a problem like this. It may seem like a no worries thing, but to me, it just pisses me off. Nopw, if this fuckstick was a GFY regular and was threatning you, well, that's fine, because that's kinda like family ;)))))

No. He made a ranting and smarmy request of someone else to remove their popups, and carbon copied me to try to bully an upstanding program into listing to his pissant demands. Say it with me...

see, this is why some programs don't respond to webmasters they've terminated....I've now wasted an hour with this guy explaining if he has an issue with us, DarkDollars, he doesn't need to email his entire address book about the problem. Ian has nothing to do with DarkDollars other than being one of our top webmaster referrers.

Ian runs a great site and is one of those Sensitivity Police guys and doesn't deserve to be brought into a problem that an affilaite has with US.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing.

I got a few emails from Hufkens, I guess because I run a dark fetish tgp in my network, and he's probably submitted galleries to me before. This looks like a misunderstanding from what I can tell. Hufkens has a habit of "CC-ing" everyone whenever he sends emails like that, but he did say that Ian's program has great sites did he not?

Then he was called an asshole, and he's not the type that takes kindly to that, so he threatened back if anyone calls him an asshole again.

He then received an email that sort of implies that he might be sued and that he is violating someone's copyrights, and I can see where he's getting angrier by the second.


I don't think all this shit is worth it just because he doesn't like popups, but that's just my opinion. I sent him an email just now that advises him to drop it and drop the program, or else phone Ian and get this straightened out. If he does the phone call, maybe everyone involved should try TALKING instead of arguing.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I didn't call him an asshole because he CC'd me. I called him an asshole because I think he's an asshole; he's stealing my content, along with a lot more, and *then* he CC'd me.

And, you know what... One strong word doesn't quite warrant a threat of physical violence. Especially from a kiddy porn peddler.

Hufkens is confused at the best of times. That just proves that this is a misunderstanding (largely on his part but not all), and it's really kind of laughable when you think about it.

Again, it's not worth making a big bad issue out of this. None of the emails I saw said anything like him telling other webmasters not to join darkdollars.

yeah, I got a lovely exchange of emails cc'd to me, between you and him...

his problem with our consoles should not have been directed at Ian....

What he did (by CCing everyone) is a disruption of business. I've sent him a follow up email explaining that it's our policy to investiagte any allegations of content theft. Most any other sponsor has that same policy....

I also gave him the option of simply dropping us...not that hard to do....I also further explained how he could send his traffic to alternate tours or pages to avoid the consoles....I run the program fairly, but I also have very little bullshit tolerance...

We've had several attempts by other goth sposnors to smear our sites and programs and after awhile it starts getting old and pissing you off...

Careful. GFY isn't the place to make such accusations without proof. All I see is words, can you offer proof? (off the board of course)


Hufkens says (a few emails ago now) that your program has some models that look like "minors" too, so it sounds like you're both hell-bent on blowing this issue up to the moon.


He says he can't post here because his IP is banned. Now THAT'S funny!

In the time I've known him I've come to think he's always a bit confused about things in general. I don't feel much surprise that he contacted the wrong person about your program.

He does have a habit of "CC-ing" everyone about anything and everything he thinks is of the least importance, but I don't think he intended to slam your program, at least not at first, as his words here plainly tell... "<i>You have a selection of GREAT MAJOR Paysites !</i>
...Followed by a plea to "fix the popups".
I haven't looked around Hufken's site much, so I don't know about content theft or child porn, but 2 things I do know are this: 1) People better have proof before publicly accusing,
and 2) If it is there, the offending site needs to be shut down.

Btw, offering alternate "non-popup tours" is something I personally love to see, and is the mark of a good sponsor in my book.

I take back the kiddy porn thing. I do not know that he is peddling child pornography. All I know is that he told me himself, in the past, that he was in trouble with the law, accused of having child porn on his site. Innocent until proven guilty-- but not smart enough to take MET off his site after going to court.

He also uses a variety of images from my site, outside of the regulations I give for affiliates promoting my sites. When I complained, his response was that he steals most of the images on his site outright, so why should *I* complain if he is linking to me. I can try to find the email...

I even emailed him how to get rid of the consoles by either building his own tour or copying our tours to his server and removing the console code.

I wasn't going to terminate his account just on the word of someone else accusing him of having stolen content, but I felt I should mention it and ask if he had a license for the images. If he does indeed show proof of license, I'll gladly apologize for inconvenience and wish him well. If he cannot produce the license, then I'll suspend his account. If, after a resonable amount of time he offers nothing at all, I'll terminate the account.

My biggest beef was the CCing in of all those other people....

Gothweb -- I know all too well how tough it is to run a dark fetish site. There are still a lot of webmasters in that genre that grab content without asking. Look at fuckhead Stile, he's been known to grab a movie or two from time to time from other sites. He was caught using one of my producer's movies without authorization about 3 years ago.

Anyway, I guess you either can everyone who even slightly violates your TOS or you accept the traffic they send and get on with it. Did you can him?

K, I've emailed the above comments to him. Hopefully he'll calm down and contact you and get this straightened out with you guys.
