Chris Hansen is a very powerful man and takes this stuff very seriously. If he wanted to he could file a series of civil suits against you and make your life hell. If he made one phone call to his FBI buddies they will be knocking on your door looking for any problems in your 2257 paperwork.

it's a joke - when I saw his banner I laughed - I wouldn't have used it because I knew eventually somebody would make it into an issue.

ya, you know the first time i saw the banner i noticed the resemblence too, and i think it's pretty hard to deny the resemblence. and with this image of the two side by side it's even harder. it looks like an exact trace in adobe illustrator to me...

Its obvious they were trying to use his likeness in the animation. It does seem humorous, but considering the niche its probably not the brightest marketing move.
