You can get SOL beer here for 1$ a bottle.

Most around 3, and in the hotel zone, about 8$

Sosa 04-09-2008 10:50 AM

Draft beer i'll usally pay $2-$3 for a pint. Unless it is bluemoon then $4-$5

Bottle beer ranges from $2-$3.50

Thats fine for a pinta, less than a pint. A real pint might cost $.75

MaDalton 04-09-2008 11:10 AM

Brno $0.89 USD
Kolin $0.76 USD
Outside Of Prague $0.72 USD
Prague $2.23 USD
Praque $1.57 USD

it's getting more expensive now - but well... not that far away from the truth

blonda80 04-09-2008 11:13 AM

$1-$5 i guess:)

blademaster16 04-09-2008 11:24 AM

best beer is stela artois and it's like 1,5 $

who 04-09-2008 11:31 AM

hrm about $2 per liter.

benito 04-09-2008 12:21 PM

San Jose , CR - most domestic beers between $1.50 - $2. Imports maybe ~$4. Prices can depend if you're getting gringo pricing also.

Brother Bilo 04-09-2008 12:40 PM

I don't care how good the beer is, I'm not paying 10 dollars for a pint of beer. I would just as soon pick up a 12 pack and head home.

Some people say the same about a $50 steak.

/shrug

But, rarely is a beer $10 a pint... only really justified in in the cases of some barley wines, eisbocks (technically illegal to brew in the U.S.), tripels or other form of first-runnings or condensed-wort beer.

...or at the Staples Center for a cup of bud, apparently. :disgust

Morgan 04-09-2008 12:54 PM

Sam Adams sells it's limited edition of Utopias for $100.00 per 24 ounce bottle (1.5 pint). The production was limited to 8,000 copper bottles containing a brew with an alcohol content of 25 percent.

I was about the say exactly the same thing. Those who have been to the Bash have seen the Gringo price at Beatle Bar up to just under $4 for a domestic beer when it's less than half price across the street...

TCSMatt 04-09-2008 01:21 PM

$4.50-$6.00 per pint at a tavern. Hop prices have skyrocketed from $4 per pound to $27 per lb, just f'd up the price of IPA's (one of my favs:()

stev0 04-09-2008 01:26 PM

Calgary

in Ukraine normal ukrainian beer costs ~$0.7/0.5l (starts from $0.4) Even Carlsberg and Tuborg cost ~$0.7

but there're also great european brands for $2-3.
i'm not big beer lover, so this means nothing for me.

e.g. Martini Bianco, which i like, costs $15/

natkejs 04-09-2008 01:38 PM

100 04-09-2008 01:39 PM

Hell, it's only $0.75 for a Guinness in Bocas. I'll pay the extra 18 cents!

Lykos 04-09-2008 03:34 PM

Anywhere from 2-5 euros, depends where u drink it:)

Ramp 04-09-2008 03:59 PM

bottle of Carlberg in lithuania cost: 1.5$
other beers are cheaper you can get it for 1$ :)

you can get drunk here for a quite little amount of money :D

F-U-Jimmy 04-09-2008 04:07 PM

Seems a pint in London is about the same as a pint in San Diego. ( A UK pint is bigger than a USA pint ) except the beer in the USA is like piss

just a punk 04-09-2008 04:10 PM

Today I was in 3 Moscow pubs (yep, still feel drunk a bit :)) The 0.5 litre mug of beer in cheaper pub was only 4 euros and in the the expensive one it was for 15 euros.

So according to my todays experience it's 4..15 euros for 0.5 litre mug. As about http://www.pintprice.com/region.php?...ration/EUR.htm - I would love to live in such a fantasy kingdom! :)

P.S. Bottle beer in supermarkets is much cheaper of course. The prices start as low as $1 for 0.5 litre bottle.

Spunky 04-09-2008 04:11 PM

I pay about 13 bucks for 6 imports

TheMaster 05-27-2008 02:54 AM

Belgium $2.62, that's for real Stella Artois, not the export they have worldwide, Belgian Stella is stronger

the high dollar amount is because of the sucky dollar rate, in euro it's €1.67

in Czech it's €0.95

The Duck 05-27-2008 03:09 AM

Sweden, here they cost about $8.

I miss when a pint was $0.25 in prague. :( It used to be that way in Budapest too. Everything went down the drain in 02-03
