I need your opinions about this,not a drama,just opinion:)
 

Ok here is the story....

Customer contact me like a month ago,order around 16 dvd's + 1 scene,i get him 30% discount or even more don't really remember.So total amount to be charged was $2,240.I even allow him to pay me that weekly,250$ per week,every friday like he asked,till entire ammount is paid.I did that only couse i liked the guy on first place and he seemed to be ok guy.So order was delivered and when it was first friday to send $250.... there comes the problem:)

So now he is starting with bulshit stories like,"i dont know you,how i can know you have rights to sell it" I told him to check my reputation either here or any other forum and that is really NOT WORTH anything to risk my reputation for little bit more then 2k $.....anyway..he continues to ask contract,which shouldn't really be shown couse in that case he would have direct contact with produces and could buy from him without my % and hard work i put into it....offcourse i was really PISSED OFF.

But never mind.... i told him he will get contract on monday as it was sunday that day and my office was closed.And i told him he doesn't have to pay anything but i will post on GFY what kind of jerk he is.Anyway mondya he got the contract and then week after it or more when i keep asking was all ok with contract,he confirmed yes.

So this is first time he is actually an jerk...never mind he wanted it i provided it.
So 10 days after it...he ask for licence ,i sent him standard licence with invoice who everyone gets last 5 years.... he asked me "why do i need invoice when i dont have to pay?"

Now my only question here is...i don't care for those 2240$ but....EVEN I ALREADY PAYOUT MY PRODUCER FOR THIS,so i lose 1120$.... what do you think,does this guy looks like a stand-up guy?What would u do in this situation?

So he got content,got contract he wanted to see so badly,and then choose not to pay,ok i told him that,but did he look like a total pussy,non-stand up guy and bad bizz man?

that sucks - first void his license - then out him here on GFY as the deadbeat he is.

"the videos are not of the greatest quality and the license does not have any fields for signatures or state the fact that you guys granted us a free license based on the verbal statements you made"

This is standard licence/invoice we do for years,and yet this guy has a remark on it:)

I would suggest in future, full payment up front or they don't get the content. If he's paying you $250 a week then he can't afford your product.

I've seen these type of people before with my script. "I will give you $50 now and $20 a week until it's paid off". My answer is always "NO". Because as soon as they get it they think there is no need to pay the rest. In your case, this has been the same thing.

I know your a great guy because you have offered me the "download now and pay later" option. But really, it's only going to cause issues and have half your time spent chasing this bastards.

If it's a start up it's even worse. You are helping someone start in the business that obviously has no business being here. He'll eventually be fucking over others in the same fashion. And then close shop and fucking over affiliates.

Seriously, name who it is and save us all the headache.

It is not being a bad man, it is protecting others who may end up dealing with him. Yes it may lead to some drama but you run a solid ship so you have no worries and keep a level head which you always seem to do.

Yeah u might be right on that,but yet,i have tons of friends,real ones,tons of good buyers,who wouldn't do that,karma is bitch,what goes around comes around,so he will fell that himself sooner or later:)

Give him a week to pay the full amount..
If he doesn't pay void his license and out him.

I know how you feel cause it could destroy him but he had no problems fucking you over keep that in mind and would you want others to be scammed by him? If you let him go he will just continue to scam people.

Yeah i agree with you on that ,will see his reaction if he understand what he did and what jerk he showed up...if he continue,i will gladly post info,again he will be free to use the content,but everyone will know who is he and what kind of person to deal with:)

I have the highest reapect for Lykos. He's a stand up guy and a real pro when it comes to biz. He his a man that will stand by his word and this newbie should learn a lesson here... Survey says: total jerk!

The guy is an idiot. I suggest informing him that his license has been revoked. Do NOT send him a new license saying that he can use it for free. Someone who pulls a scam like that and gets away with it will just try to do it again. Time to play hard ball :)

But after it,today...he has problems with licence...standard licence which goes to every customer i work with,and many of you here can show those licences/invoices....i didnt care for money,i said him if i PROVE I HAVE RIGHTS TO SELL.... u get content for free but entire story goes to GFY so other people can decide who is right and who is wrong,and you ppl decided that.....

So BOSS1..... you have your 16 dvd's + 1 scene,free to use for your websites and selling to mobiles trough your website,but you still choosed not to pay and that way show as a jerk,but this is the price you are paying.

No drama or anything,just learn to read forums and find out who is who,and learn to respect when someone is nice with you.after all... u didnt pay high price,u got stuff for free....cya...
