I say it every gas thread so Ill say it in this one. The price of gas has not gone up our dollar has dropped. Check out the growth of gold prices and the growth of oil prices an ounce of gold can still buy just about the same amount of oil it could 10 years ago. Have we hit peak gold too? haha

Dollar going down = higher gas prices.

I just had to fill up my diesel pickup today and I paid $4.74 per gallon, that's fucking crazy.

my sister called me from nw indiana...about 45 mins out of chicago...and said it was $4.09/gal there today. crazy.
