Impeachment articles against bush
 

as I write this Dennis Kucinich is reading 35 articles of impeachment against president bush, the house will likely vote on this later in the week.

he already pardoned himself, what good will this do? I mean he should be, but nothing will happen.

I don't think the pardon was passed was it? I think he tried to sneak it thru, and they caught it, but I could be wrong, usually am.

Why is it too late? Impeach is just the word used when you bring charges against someone in office. He can get convicted.

OK lets look at the reality here. This is all politics, timing. It isn't so much to get Bush out of office as it is to bring McCains ties to an unpopular President further out into the open. In the long term this is aimed more at helping the Dems win in 08 than anything else.

Should Bush be impeached? Hell yes for treason no less but he has 7 months left its a moot point.

This is a setup, a backdoor way to have Bush removed from office and Cheney will take over and obliterate Iran before Obama takes over in January!

unfortunately, it's not the politicians that will make a difference, the problem is the majority of U.S. citizens are way too apathetic to do anything.

As much as I would like to see both impeached. I think it would be a major time and cash sink to the country as a whole. It would tie up congress and others long into the next presidents term when they have much more important matters to deal with.

Now establishing a special grand jury to see if he should stand trial for war crimes, treason, and other charges would be ok and not interfere with national interests at this time.

Sorry. After we impeached Clinton for no reason what-so-ever, impeachment is now worthless. An impeachment is supposed to huge, and should result in total shame. In this case Clinton said "Yep, I got blown by an intern and you would have too if you were sitting in my seat". Big deal.

Can't believe that Bush is not actually getting impeached but Clinton got impeached for not telling the truth about a blowjob.
At least with Clinton we didn't have to go to war and soldiers didn't die for his lies.

In the story I just got from the net is says the following "Kucinich's impeachment resolution comes after the shocking revelations contained in the 107-page Senate Intelligence Committee's report that confirmed, once and for all, (and with the vote of two Republican Senators), that President Bush lied the American people into war. There can be no more dire and serious offense than a president lying to his fellow Americans on issues of war and peace. Bush should be impeached forthwith. The House Judiciary Committee should vote on the Kucinich resolution and split it up into Articles of Impeachment. All the committee needs is one Article to impeach Bush, Kucinich has provided dozens of potential Articles."
