Horror_ Opera 9.5 blocks all ccbill sites
 

at every ccbill site i get a blank screen with the following message:

in english:the site you have called was reported as fraud - they will try to get personal or financial datas from you - opera recommands urgently not to visit that site ....

Horror.. not, just change your preferences and set these warnings on ignore.

if those are the default settings, then all the surfers will have the same settings

i have spent about 10 minutes of getting rid off that shit in the opera settings -
i am a webmaster - do you think a surfer will take that time to get to a site ?
or will visit http://www.netcraft.com/ for further infos ?

Please post this warning on the red lines and ensure that ever person who installs it does the same thing as I doubt the poster is going to join my site but I am pretty certain some potential customers may now not because of that damn message.

now ia have downloaded and installed the english 9.5 version in an empty folder and changed no settings during install

Netcraft is the company providing the block list. It's most likely based on reports from surfers using the Phishing Toolbar (or something similar)

Opera 8.x would give the same results on all ccbill referral links when automatic fraud protection was turned on. I personally submitted a bug report months ago, but apparently they either didn't get it or ignored it.

I'm now taking bets on how many hours before version 9.51 is released. :1orglaugh

This isn't a opera bug at all as the filter is provided by netcraft. I'm seeing 3-4% on my sites but as many have writter, older versions identified itself by FF or IE so the number is higher.

ccbill just needs to contact netcraft and sort it our. preferably asap

Microsoft has adviced recently to not use Opera because of security related issues and strongly encourages to uninstall Opera from your Windows machine.

now that sucks big time!

Weird, my Opera 9.20 (engl. version) for Mac doesn't do that, it works just fine.

Weird, you're talking about a totally different version of Opera than everyone else.
