A tax isnt bad, throwing you in jail is bad. A tax makes us 100% legitimate without question. It takes all the grey away. For all my industry brothers who cry libertarian. That would be worse than any feds because the choice on porn being illegal or not would go back to the states.It would be a nightmare.

A tax is bad. Especially one as punitive as 25%.

Besides that it's not just the tax being discussed it is also the mandatory age verification system. Imagine the expense to implement that. And how do they plan to make that fly outside of the US?

A tax isnt bad, casinos pay gaming taxes, your local liquor store pays a liquor tax. No a tax makes you legitimate and you cant be fucked with. As far as Age verification if it cuts down free porn I dont think that's a bad thing. But once again they arent talking about throwing us in jail like the republicans want.

A punitive tax on one form of speech would be unconstitutional. However, that does not mean it won't happen. And I agree that a tax is bad. We already pay the same taxes as any other business.

Actually, there is a repub behind it. Check the pick. I knew it was old because it has Lieberman in it as a dem. He is now repub and has tried many times to cripple the adult and video game industry. Either way, it is old news and impossible to implement outside of the US.

Yes the sky did change! Porn has been saturated all over the Internet since 2000. I came into this Industry in 2003 and I even see a HUGE explosion of porn since then, so from 2000 it has to have grown even more. Actually at the end of the day, all the times the government has gone after porn. It was during Nixon, during Reagan and now with Bush. What do they all have in common?
