Music or TV. I freak out when it's dead quiet.

I found the directors commentary on DVDs can be interesting to have on in the background. Especially for movies or TV shows you've seen a bunch of times so you can just listen.

i like music over tv. tv sometimes i get distracted or spend to much time changing the channel to find something better

Depends on what I'm doing. If it's mindless work I'll usually put music on. If I'm programming complex stuff I like it dead silent but if roommates are making noise I'll listen to noise to drown out all the noise.

At home when I'm working it is music or tv because at my day job I'm not allowed to play music in the office. Makes me crazy!

I can't... for the life of me... concentrate if I don't have some sort of noise... it doesn't matter if it is music, tv or dogs barking ... I gotta have some noise.... otherwise I just can't concentrate... the deafening silence kills me.... :(

Always got either the TV or some music on..

when i need to do something without deadline i ussually listen radio on mine laptop.... but when i am in hurry i turn off everything and concentrate on the work that need to be done...

music mostly whole albums on my hd or occasionally radio at www.real.com tune in to the world music/reggae on there the most, relaxing bg music (thats back ground music, not baby gangsta!)

19" 24" 19" lcd's mean im usually watching a movie / tv show, or lately iv been doing the yahoo buisness video thing to get my daily dose of mainstream us media. i can feel myself getting dumber with every video thats played to me ;)

But the only tv I own is out in the family room, I would never watch tv while I work.
