Can someone from Livejasmin Explain this?
Hello collective of GFY
I send traffic to livejasmin right? And today i noticed they place a popunder on their website, code is like this : <script> var win = null; var DOLO = false function addclickpopunder() { DOLO = true; } function openPopUnder(e) { if (win === null && DOLO) { win = window.open('http://community.livesex.com/?content_type=straight', 'lsPopUnder', 'menubar=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=1,status=1,locat ion=1,toolbar=1,left=0,top=0,width=1024,height=768 '); if (win !== null) { win.blur(); window.focus(); } } } if (document.attachEvent) {document.attachEvent('onclick', openPopUnder);} else if (document.addEventListener) { document.addEventListener('click', openPopUnder, false); } </script> -------------- Why would an affiliate program place a popunder towards their own affiliates biggest competition player? Is this normal? Love to hear your replays |
thats strange
|
And also, this player has all on PPS, so when a surfer signs up with Livesex, the affiliate is shit out of luck. Is see no LOGICAL meaning in this whole situation. I almost would say my traffic is being taken now for their own purpose. but i wait with making conclusions untill i get some more replays on this situation.

Livesex Is = Livejasmin unless they sold it
Livesex was the site they use to accept kiddiporn traffic to. |
but its a tube site, are they hopeing my traffic bookmarks it, and on this way they take my hard earned visitors?
I still find this a un logical way of working with your hard working affiliates. This is the first Adult Cam program in my list that pop-ups tube sites on affiliate traffic. |
AWE doing shady shit? Noooo...

Livejasmin came out way ahead of the others on the ratio, but that was kind of useless because about a month into the test, they decide to change to the time limited revshare, and cookie overwriting shit. Then the traffic source problem I mentioned happened, that was the last time i ever promoted a camsite. I have ImLive/pussycash on the way in on a site thats still on the drawingboard, but im still not a big fan of camsites - its a trafficleak, so it better be real profitable. If anyone can do it, I belive its ImLive. The rest is just to little profit compared to the trafficleak. ... if you ask me |

man...good thing i'm no longer promoting them
see sig! |
They went quite agressive, even after their recent agressive marketing campaings. Popups and unders are quite an annoying way to do marketing.
But guess what ? No one will leave them this time either... |

But this is behind the back of the affiliates. Situation is like this since a week or so.. http://imagehost.awms-network.com/up...51cadc0ae8.gif |
Damn just got webcam domain and i was planing to promote them
|
always keep an eye out
|
Bump for some answers from Team AWE
|
Would really be surprised if it did not work for them. :)
They let us fish in their pool, but keep the biggest rod for themselves... (sounds like someone has complexes :P) No need to mention, they lenghten their rod every time a little, just for the others to not notice the growth. |
Oh yes, and as well i forgot to mention that beaten dogs used to bite back after a while... :P Will see how they'll progress in this matter. :2 cents:
|
I'm kind of done with jumping threw flaming hopes every time. This is becoming a unworkable situation. Will keep this thread up for at least 14 days :)

Oefff keep watching, this going to become even more very soon.
|
As i see it now, Jasmin is killing their own future webmasters. Good, they can have this pop-under, but it will increase the traffic from AWE Affiliates to OTHER Cam portals.
Why bite the hand that feeds you? |
will keep this thread up, everyone who pushes Livejasmin aka AWEmpire should be aware of this.
|
bump for an answer.

bump for an answer

I think you need to check cause every cam program out their has their own tube site, mainly to eventually cut out affiliates completely, at least thats what I would do...
|
Did I bump this already?

bump bump bump ..... i would also like to hear the reason for this, since they are mainly the only cam program i promote.

There are some long videos on that livesex tube, are they legal? Pretty messed up to undercut your affiliates like that.
|
so does livejasmin with this whole limited time revshare thing not count sales made by members with that cookie?
like a surfer goes to my site, clicks and then joins livejasmin, i get a cut of the first time he deposits...but then 3 weeks later he comes back with the same scree name, do I not get anything this time? |
on their site they promote, their blog says it was up on 21. March, 2008. all people who promote awe just go back and see if your sales have droped since then, mine has, thats about the time when my sales started to go down and i started to lose clients thats been under my cookie for a long long time! and it gets worse each month

and who ever owns livesex.com is useing per signup, so all of the webmasters users who they have sent over are being taken away right now and we wont ever earn another dime from them heh

All is done by cookie. They explain this : when you keep a client on your site spending, then you could actually have this for a life time. Or when you take a cobranded subdomain for 10% of the sales you could keep him for a life time on this subdomain. It is all sales talk. Life time revenue is what Cams.com does or videosecrets, they do actually life time. I still enjoy sales of first time members years ago. A member name on Livejasmin is not connected to your stats, when he uses after 4 weeks the same name, your revenue will not raise. Unless he came back to your site to go from there to livejasmin again. This program is a race till cookie expires. After it expired, AWE keeps full spendings of this client. They brand their name on banners, movies and what ever they give out. They do realy their best to let the visitor REMIND the name livejasmin. |
A bump to keep this up for the next 2 weeks ;)
|
Cutting out affiliates is a mistake as is only having affiliate traffic. You need to be diverse and get traffic from all sides.
