Fuck, I need to lose some weight
Just found out that I now weigh exactly 100kg (220 lbs, for all you metrically challenged Americans) :Oh crap
Here's to half a year of veggies, chicken and fish :disgust |
I'm trying to lose 20-25 lbs that I have put on in the past year or so. Still down 50 overall but need to get this extra weight back off
|
I need to lose some too. I havent weighed myself in months, but the view of my toes is in danger of being eclipsed, lol.
|
I say that every morning :( sometimes l will eat a small cake then do 20 sit ups :1orglaugh doesnt make any difference but it makes me feel less guilty !!:upsidedow
|
Damn. I hear you though I am at 190 and thats about 25 to much
|
I'm at around 220, but I'm 6'2" and thankfully a fair amount of it is muscle. I do want to 'lean out' a bit before April, so I need to stop eating fast food and intensify my workout regimen. It's just really hard to do when my friends show up with a friggin' pizza and a case of Mountain Dew=/
|
Big tummy here too...Doing some cardio and more healthy food, guess my body should feel it
|
you are not the only one
|
I hear ya, I'm 6'4 and weigh 266lbs, fatty to the maxxxxx!
|
What's your length?
I'm around 90kg's (198) at 178cm |

I'm at 65 kilo right now, pounding up to 80 kilo's by the end of next year (muscle not fat) ;-)
|
100kg with 1,84m means that you should lose 20kg at least. Yes, thatīs gonna take you 4 or 5 months at least. If you also make some exercises that can be easier. Just do it! Iīll feel good! :)

It's winter. Everyone packs it on when it's cold out. It's not like you're morbidly obese. Watch your portion sizes and fat content and you'll be fine.
|
People need to actually get active in addition to eating right.
|
Start sweating, that's the one and only solution... :2 cents:

The belly will go though... |

100 kg with 22% body fat is 78kg with 0% body fat. 80kg is under 3% body fat, which is life-threatening if maintained for longer periods of time. BMI doesn't work if you have more muscle mass than the average person :2 cents: |
I've been on one of those LowCarb-HighFat diets since November and so far I've lost 13 kilo/28.6pounds.
This must be the most easy way to lose weight. You can eat really good food and still lose weight. |
Good luck.

Rarely if ever is there a reason to cut out any normal food, by normal I mean fairly natural and does not need to be ran through machines to eat it. Fat does not make you fat, nor does red meat, cheese, pasta, or anything else along those lines. Just go with foods where you know the ingredients and typically do not eat out. Follow that very simple bit of advice and of course understand portion control and weight is rarely an issue. Hell as step 1 for anyone who wanted to loose weight I would just tell them to buy smaller plates and bowls. What you eat can still taste fantastic and be good for you. Hell you can even splurge often and still barely rack up the calories if you know what your cooking and you make your calories count. Plus if you get into the hang of it, it just becomes the way you live your life and you no longer end up with such weight issues. |
if it makes you feel better i have gained 15lbs in 3 weeks...in all honesty its easier to lose than gain:2 cents:

Cutting out soft drinks is a really easy start. Cutting back on your alcohol intake can help too (because of the sugar and/or carbs in most of it). Drink water.
The fad diets may have great short term results, but just remember that unless you plan on changing eating habits for the long haul, you might as well not throw out the old pants. Don't recondition your body to not accept a certain food group and then think that it won't come back to haunt you. |
Have banana diet.

I generally eat low carb (I eat a small bowl of cereal like special k or cheerios in the morning, one piece of fruit daily and only about one piece of whole wheat bread a day-that's what I eat daily in carbs) but I'm not on an official low carb diet that tells you to eat under this many carbs but those programs USUALLY have a pretty good short term effect but in the long term everyone gains back...no one can keep it up Why it's not working for you seems odd.... Questions: What was your diet like before you started. What did you generally eat (no cheating) and about how many calories did you consume daily? What was your exercise program like? What about now? I got my diet tips from an ex-professional soccer player in glorious shape at the age of 40 and I don't mind helping if you have questions... |

when I lived abroad I automatically lost weight I was used to eating American portions far too large for any human being studies have shown that if you use a larger plate YOU WILL EAT MORE. True story.... Americans also have a buffet mentality: supersize me, eat everything that's given, get the "better deal" with more food at only pennies more, costco START EATING ON SMALLER PLATES! If you eat out ask the waiter to wrap half of it immediately. If you don't see it, you won't eat it. |
