there was a certain mood to the nightclub music, hard to describe, none of the rap crap that clubs play now sometimes, it was more of a positive vibe that went well with an inebriated brain and lots of hot girls in Madonna type clothes:1orglaugh

I remember they were under a buck. I think it was early 90's and I recall one time filling up for .89 cents. This would have been like '90-92 in there somewhere.

mynameisjim 02-08-2009 10:39 PM

A Trans Am or a Camaro was actually considered a cool car. Now you drop $80k to have a cool car and you look like a soccer mom driving around.

mikesinner 02-08-2009 10:47 PM

Women with big hair.

Don't hate on me but I miss Ronald Reagan. I live in a developing country now and boy, could we use some of his ideas and leadership.

As for other stuff, I miss 80s "New Wave" music

NaughtyRob 02-08-2009 11:45 PM

Slutty bitches dressed like Madonna.

Rochard 02-09-2009 12:06 AM

In 1997 I moved to Orlando, FL. Gas at the RaceTrac was $.69 a gallon and a pack of smokes cost $1.45.

Amazing that was less than 15 years ago.

From the 80s though, I miss ALF.

fuzebox 02-09-2009 09:09 AM

The toys. Nowadays kids toys are made so cheaply... Hot Wheels, come in plastic now! Back then action figures had a lot of detail, limbs that swiveled and bent properly, and plenty of accessories.

Hell, Transformers were die-cast and weighed a couple pounds each :1orglaugh

Amen !!

Toys nowadays just seem like cheap shit. Even the new Star Wars toys aren't half as good as the old firgures...

lulu36 02-09-2009 09:13 AM

honda's - they are still great cars but honda's out of the 80's (and 90's) are indestructible and having no financial responsibilities. :)
