I've trying to cancel my subscription to AVN for months now. I don't need their black plastic garbage bag wrapped pile of advertisements every month. It's usueless IMO. I should file a law suit against them for SPAMMING my PO Box

frivolous lawsuit... against such a close company... sucks..

interesting how frequently these days people are calling others out about stealing and taking ideas. Unless I am mistaken, the industry has always had this Achilles heel to a degree-unfortunately just seems more overt these days be it true or not.

Close to eight years at AVN, I believe, and pretty high up in the company, which probably means she has a LOT of information about its inner workings, etc.

I don't know any specifics about this lawsuit, but I do have a pretty good sense of how I'd feel if someone with detailed information about the inner workings of my company went to an aggressive direct competitor.

I don't know if this deals w/ a non-compete or other, and I'm guessing here, but I'd think that a sales person would be in position to try and bring clients from one company to another. Not sure if that's alleged or not, since AVN isn't the one who went public, but if it is, it's possible that this goes beyond just non-competes.

This is going to be interesting.
