With bbq sauce.

SteveHardeman 05-06-2009 02:43 PM

Chicken. Albeit every part of the chicken all ground up into some mash-meal, then breaded and fried, but chicken nonetheless.

nn_sean 05-06-2009 02:43 PM

hmm, the tip off was probably when they released the chicken selects, and touted them as being "made from real chicken". so what the hell have I been eating for the last 20 years when I ordered "chicken" nuggets??????

It used to be mostly chicken (some filler) , but now its all chicken. It can't be thinks like rats, pig parts, worms etc because everything else is more expensive.

You're right, no one eats there.

McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) is the world's largest chain of fast food restaurants, serving nearly 47 million customers daily.

Number of locations worldwide: 31,000+

Snake Doctor 05-06-2009 03:51 PM

The 2004 documentary Super Size Me states that the McDonald's Chicken McNuggets, originally made from old chickens no longer able to lay eggs, are now made from chickens with unusually large breasts. These chickens are stripped down to the bone, and then "ground up in to a chicken mash then combined with a variety of stabilizers and preservatives, pressed into familiar shapes, breaded and deep fried, freeze dried, and then shipped to a McDonald's near you."

Super Size Me also alleged that they included chemicals such as tertiary butylhydroquinone (a phenolic antioxidant), polydimethylsiloxane (an anti-foaming agent), and other ingredients not used by a typical home cook. As of 2007, these two ingredients were still listed as possible ingredients of the vegetable oil that is used to fry McNuggets. In a 2002 lawsuit against McDonald's, the judge claimed Chicken McNuggets are a "McFrankenstein" creation of various elements not used by the home cook.

Chicken, water, salt, modified corn starch, sodium phosphates, chicken broth powder (chicken broth, salt, and natural flavoring (chicken source)), seasoning (vegetable oil, extracts of rosemary, mono, di- and triglycerides, lecithin). Battered and breaded with water, enriched bleached wheat flour (niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, bleached wheat flour, modified corn starch, salt, leavening (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, dried whey, corn starch. Batter set in vegetable shortening. Cooked in partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, (may contain partially hydrogenated soybean oil and/or partially hydrogenated corn oil and/or partially hydrogenated canola oil and/or cottonseed oil and/or sunflower oil and/or corn oil). TBHQ and citric acid added to help preserve freshness. Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an anti-foaming agent.

Do you want to know the truth ?

You can't handle the truth !!!

Years ago before most of you guys where born I used to work on the Chicken Mc Nugget account in London ( TV Commercials ).
I was told ( and you can believe this or not ) that all the meat from Mc Donald's is scarified ( every last morsel is removed from the bone with a laser )
That fries cannot be called French fries ( the French did not invent the Fry, it was the Belgium's ) because their content has very little to do with a potato and more to do with hydrolyzed starch ( http://www.freepatentsonline.com/5393552.html ) Oh and while we are on the subject the cheese is in fact manufactured with around 5 different chemical additives ( http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m.../ai_n21179277/ ) and those huge Vanilla milk shakes are thickened with methylcellulose ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methylcellulose )
Enjoy your Big Mac it may be your last !!!

Hence the growing number of obese people in the US.

Disneyland's ride, Its A Small World, was shut down for a whole year just for refurbishing so obese people couldn't sink the boats anymore. And United Airlines are charging more for obese passengers.

Needless to say, fast food chains are growing and so is your ass.

I can gaurantee this statement to be false. They never have and never will make a "special" vegetable oil for McNuggets... its the same 100% vegetable oil that they use for all their deep fried products.. including fries.

Good troll though... i'll give it a 7/10 for originality. :thumbsup
