For fuck sakes... Legalize Weed already.
Stupid goverment as a big ticket to get out of this miserable economy but they prefer turning the blind eye and see the population suffer...
What a shame:( |
I don't even smoke weed and I think they should just legalize it.

Alcohol is far more dangerous
|
I would rather see it completely decriminalized than legal. Once it becomes legal, and it eventually will, big corporations will take it over and it will be taxed as much as cigarettes or more. Imagine paying $10 for a joint and $8 of that goes to the govt, fuck that.

I have my beer and JD - let them have their pot already. Stop wasting tax dollars on incarcerating pot smokers - feed the hungry instead. |

you ever been busted?
do they still lock you up if you have little on you? ps. its easier to get coke where I am than pot. |

I haven't smoked since I was 18 but I think it is dumb that it is not legal or at the very least decriminalized.

Im craving Doritos

Norml ftw!!!!!

Yep, and coke as well please.

However, since I work with cops - yes, I've seen them bust people locally for possession (small quantities). Not always...but they still do (especially drivers behind the wheel). |

They don't even bother to lock you up here with small amounts. Most of the time they take it (and probably smoke it themselves) while letting you off with a warning. The only time that happened, I was 17. I can get quality buds from no less than 6 different people in the next hour. Delivered no less. Coke is just as easy to get. The War on Drugs failed years ago. |

Right!!!!!!
|
I don't want it getting crazy expensive and shitty quality or controlled dosages though. Just keep it like it is, but don't fucking prosecute or arrest over it.

Eh you're more of a dumbass for claiming that they dont, PLENTY of people commit crimes to pay for weed. |

I have never understood why alcohol is legal but weed is not. I definitely support legalization.

As for quality I am sure they will be clever enough to have more then 1 quality at more then 1 set price. Just like liquor or cigars, you have cheap liquor and you have fine liquor. |

yeah buy 3 ozones get a fun bag full of munchies free!!

You cant outright legalize it. Its not outright legal ANYWHERE. It should be de-criminalized down to a FINE for possession. Treat it like a DUI.
If you want America to be like Netherlands.. isn't it still illegal their? I thought their government just looks the other way when its sold under controlled circumstances in specific establishments? What happens to you in Amsterdam if you get pulled over with a pound of dope in your glove box? |
I love weed, although I quit because of a personal choice to do so. CALIFORNIA is about to literally go bankrupt. The politicians and lawmakers need to pull their heads out of their asses for Gods sake. We spend millions prosecuting; jailing and monitoring weed users/growers etc. When instead we could be growing as a state/country, producing & taxing and making a shit load of revenue. I assume it would be a swing in the neighborhood of positive billions of dollars a year.

Fact is if it is not legal and you are buying it from someone, you are breaking the law... that's the issue here. |
