I protect myself by choosing not to live in area where having a gun is necessary. Face it if you NEED a gun then perhaps the gun is not going to solve your problems.

All I'm saying if you live in the ghetto and therfore you need a gun, a gun isn't going to solve your problems. Moving out of the ghetto will.

What if you live in a rural area and feel you need a gun? Or what if you can't afford to live anywhere but a high crime area? Moving to a suburb with a low crime rate isn't always a person's option or choice.
