How does a company that deals with the important money of this many people have such horrible dispute/problem resolution procedures?

I tried to login to my account and it says blocked. I call some overseas callcenter and am told my account has been terminated. Why? "we can't give out that information"

I ask for a supervisor, same answer.

I email Michael Olsen, who seems to be the GFY king of fixing epass issues, and I am told its been terminated and can't be reopened.

Of course in all of this, I still have no clue why, no explanation, no way to fix it.

I hate paypal too but at least they are somewhat cival and have a dispute process and a person to contact that will give you some damn information.

Fuck epass.

Epass are nothing but a bunch of idiots from India or Pakistan! They are a huge waste of time.. I FUCKING HATE dealing with them. They cannot understand shit, their english is terrible!

I play by their rules, but when you have questions, it takes a FUCKING week for
them to actually understand the problem.

I sent them EVERY fucking document they asked for, DL, PASSPORT, BANK CARD COPIES, ChECK COPIES.. they said that was not enough!

it's what happens anytime you have a single company with the monopoly of a market. adult needs an alternative/compaetitor to epass to keep them in check and things healthy.

right now they just come up with whatever conditions/prices/etc they feel like and there's no way to compare them with a competitor or change if you're not happy. sucks bug time.

I have been forever as well, I think since 04 maybe? And all of a sudden I am a scammer and get my account closed.

Anytime they have ever asked for verification/etc I have provided it. They have my bank info, my credit card, my id, all kinds of shit.

I dont even use epass a TON but when I do, I am def not doing anything illegal with it. So I wouldnt count on them not banning you as well.

It's not just adult that needs it, the internet as a whole needs more competing but compatible payment methods.

The best case scenario would be if banks worldwide finally got their act together and created a system for secure, low-cost international wire transfers. Something like iDEAL, but worldwide.

would make perfect sense if there were viable alternatives. right now it's either epass or cheques (sometimes wires) that are pretty expensive and hard to work with in some countries. As an example in a lot of European countries no one under 65 uses checks anymore and banks hate dealing with them, I've paid over 30eur (~$40) to cash in a sponsor check at my bank, and takes anywhere from 2 weeks to one month to have the money in my account.

If you don't like the idea of sending extensive detailed personal information to an internet offshore company (epass) you have no real option. As someone mentioned I would love to see some serious banks starting offering similar services... I thought mastercard was developing something a while back but never heard about it again.

plus this is the exact reason I said above that EPASS is worse than paypal. You have NO method for complaints. You dont even tell me what the issue is. You give no proof, no place to refute, no place for explanation, no options to fix.

I guess that would make too much sense.

not only do they just have to file a complaint, but they don't ask for your side of the story, dont inform you of said complaint, nothing apparently.

To set the record straight, I don't know if you are legit or not and I don't care, I just feel that the epass policy as Michael laid it out is total bullshit.

so whats the rule? 3 complaints? How are complaints verified? Where did my complaints come from? How do you know they are legit complaints?

Obviously I wouldnt call/email/post etc If i was trying to hide something. I have been a member for years. I dont even put a ton of $$ through epass, but as far as I know I have never had any beef with anything I have dealt with other that the person I mentioned above.

we don't terminate account based on one comlpaint and when we receive a complaint we look into it and of cause the person complaining have to have sent funds to the person they are complaining about but if we see a pattern we will terminate an account.

What do you want us to do?
If we don't terminate accounts after receiving multiple complaints then we are at fault and when we terminate accounts after multiple we are also at fault!
