The way I see it cam sites either make millions or next to nothing, and I can't
see camgirls.com failing by a long shot.

100 camgirls X 1/3 workload X $5/min X 50% profit X 60 mins X 24 hours X 365 days
= $43 million a year

Pay per minute is where it's at. :)

Result only model on cam girls is the owner trying to sell shares of the company too fucking funny :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Loooooooool

Raf1 11-24-2009 03:45 AM

funny stuff :)

lazycash 11-24-2009 04:03 AM

This is the first I've actually seen him admit that he improperly estimated what it would cost to develop an operational cam site. He scoffed at most of us when we tried to tell him the amount of money it was going to take. I'm actually shocked that he's been able to get 129 people to buy shares. Sad thing is I don't ever see those people getting a return on their investment, wonder if he offers some kind of guarantee should he never end up developing anything and just sells the domain.

What are you going to promote? If he's gonna wait till he gets 10,000 shares before he has the resources to develop his cam site and affiliate program you might be waiting a few years before you have anything to promote.

Investors would also have a reasonable belief that he knows what he's doing, and their cash isn't going to slowly flutter away due to repeated failed experiments. Hopefully he gets someone knowledgeable onboard to consult.

oh my god, this is getting funnier every day

greg80 11-24-2009 04:33 AM

you have to be a retard to invest with this guy. Here is another of his videos: https://youtube.com/watch?v=O1TrfJo_UFI

Thanks..thats what I thought ....

On a side note: Is it legal to just offer a million dollars worth of shares to the public like that ? or is this different .
I thought strict regulations exsisted for public offerings and shares ? ....Not looking to see the guy get in trouble...just the opposite ...would hate to see the next video of him in leg irons and a orange jumpsuit on his way to break rocks for 5 yrs :Oh crap.

lagcam 11-24-2009 04:47 AM

Ok so he pays "half a million" for a domain, (thought it was less than that from memory) but anyway.....he dosn't actually do anything with it, and is now selling 50% for $1 million......and using paypal.....AND 129 people have supposedly shelled out $100 on an investment where it states:

TOP OF THE PAGE

"Don't kick yourself saying if I bought a 1% share I'd be making $10 thousand a month right now."

BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

Don't forget to buy a $100 share!
If Camgirls.com is ever bigger than Livejasmin.com you would make $10K every year.

No specimen contract, no business plan, just $100 mate :upsidedow ripper !

I can't say I believe anyone has actually bought a share let alone 129 people, but if they have then it seems there really is one born every minute.

Zorgman 11-24-2009 04:58 AM

This guy is a retard. Anyone seriously invest with this loser and you are a loser.

I never say this but OMFG!

I think it would be a grey area since it's not a private investment (eg privately pitching to a couple of VC's who then put in their own cash). The site doesn't seem to have any public disclosure statements, contracts etc either.

I don't want camgirls to fail or get in trouble either, but given his track record so far it's hard to be positive...... :error

SleazyDream 11-24-2009 05:11 AM

he said promotion - what about infrastructure?

woops - forgot about that too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dirtymind 11-24-2009 05:18 AM

well domain is very good, not sure what he was thinking or how he got the money to buy it, plus is it really worth the money.

quiet 11-24-2009 05:33 AM

what is this guy thinking? buying shares through paypal with no contracts, no biz plan, no nothing. should just sell the domain and cut his losses. jesus.

did he really pay half a mill for that domain, with no idea how to develop it, and no money to develop it? yikes.

Wow..... So this is his way now to try to make money off the domain name, by selling "shares".

Hi I am " Noob" I don't know what the fuck I am doing, but if I get 10,000 people to send me $100 I will be able to make a profit off of buying this domain. AND if camgirls.com ever becomes bigger than livejasmin you will make a lot of money! How do I make it bigger than livejasmin, well i dont have a bloody clue but it could happen so send me your $100 so you don't kick yourself for missing out on this.

Hate to be harsh but it is always nice to put a face to an idiot.

Sounds like a scam more than anything, people who send money have .0001% chance of making anything. Ok I was being generous, they have a .0000001% chance of making anything.

I'f you place 1 tiny classified add in 100 newspapers..... buy my book how to place classified ads and make a lot of money.... and the only person that makes money is the guy selling the book... sound familar ???

I'm going to buy a decent tube domain and ask everyone to buy a share for $100 bucks because youtube makes millions of dollars. :upsidedow :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

cherrylula 11-24-2009 07:27 AM

I know Fletch is doing ads for him and Fletch has a share in it!

inheritance
lawsuit
lotto

those are the top 3 ways that idiots get money. It is definitly one of them. Since he is a lot older than I thought my bet is now on inheritance.

I can see this one coming a mile away......

If he ever did get someone stupid enough to invest a $100, i would bet anything he wouldn't even spend it on his site. He would spend it to pay his bills since he is probably broke now and fucked because all of his money is in buying the domain and the domain is making him shit from type in traffic. And what would $100 do if he even spent it towards the site, buy a couple clicks so he can try to get more suckers to pay him $100 LMAO!!!
Obviously this "idea of selling shares" he thinks can make him more money then he was making from a white label site or he would have the white label up on the main page where all of his type ins are coming from and not this bullshit. that should tell you something folks. He thinks he can make more off selling an investment potential then selling cam time to the type in traffic. think about it.

NikKay 11-24-2009 09:03 AM

WOW, that is crazy ridiculous.

JamesK 11-24-2009 09:10 AM

that's just sad.

Jdoughs 11-24-2009 09:27 AM

LiveJasmine should C&D him for using their name on that page.

Brujah 11-24-2009 09:33 AM

I just bought 10 shares. No worse than a roulette bet, but it could pay off in the long run.

Definitly not legal in the US. Private placements are subject to the Securities at of 1933. He is "widely-marketing" non registered securities which certainly doesn't fall under the safe-harbor rule 144. At minimum there isn't even a private placement memorandum, just a paypal money now button.

Pleasurepays 11-24-2009 09:41 AM

thats not even legal. this guy is dumber than that i originally thought.

...i'm also pretty sure paypal would kill it the second its reported.

Fob 11-24-2009 09:42 AM

129 shares sold? lies!! those are fake numbers..hahah

I don't think he really gives a fuck what the US's stand is on the idea, since he isn't based there (and doesn't process).

He thinks he can make more off selling an investment potential then selling cam time to the type in traffic. think about it.

This reminds me of his threads in here during the summer where he threw out a proposal of partnership with promises of huge returns one day. It was the same problem then as it was now, he has no agreement, no stated timetable for returns, and no specific plan of action. I'm sure there isn't 129 different people investing, he most likely took 10k of his own money and called it 100 shares purchased.

I don't think he's setting out to scam anyone, but unfortunately this is probably how most will remember this venture a year from now when no one has seen any returns and there is nothing on the domain worthy of making much money. Also, I don't believe the domain is getting the amount of type ins you'd expect and he wasn't making much at all with his white label. From his posts he clearly showed that he didn't realize how much traffic he was going to have to throw out his white label to generate steady sales.

LeRoy 11-24-2009 09:56 AM

Maybe it will work and he'll get the mill.

Kinda like the million dollar pixel page :thumbsup
