How to make a small affiliate program look like the big boys
 

I can't say enough about CCBTools

I have my new project done and for the next few days I'm just adding webmaster advertising tools with CCBTools. Hoping to launch next week sometime.....

It has most everything I want and honestly, I have to say, if you run an affiliate program with CCbill you 3 choices when it comes to webmaster tools:

1. Spend a MIN of $15,000 in custom programing for affiliate tools

2. Buy or lease CCBTools

3. Have an affiliate area that SUCKS

Or do like Dirty D and buy some gangster clothing and flash the green all over the homepage. Then refuse to pay a publisher $300 :P

should make it invite only, jennydollars (exploitedbabysitters not teencash's babysitter site, they copied their idea) was/is invite only and its done really well

i'm thinking I might do the beta launch like this for a week or two have it invite only.....

I had implemented CCBTools for the short-lived StudioHD project and I loved it. Easy to work with, and never a problem for the affiliates.

ok, option 4 - spend an amount of time equal to more than $15,000 in educating yourself on programing and do it yourself....

looking at your affiliate program - it's good

CCBTools would add a couple more things to it.... you could program it yourself but it comes down to what is your time worth?

looking at your site - CCBtools would work REALLY well with a program like yours.....

programs who plug their competing program in a competitor's thread usually are scumbags.

What would I need to add?

options you could think about are....POTM, (you have POTD) VOTD, VOTM, Page peels, free sites, gallery builder, flash image rotator, flash viedo rotator, downloadable content...


Honestly, BV, you have a LOT if great options in your program though, it's impressive as is compared to most out there.

Not that I'm qualified to make statements like this anyways......

Well, neither of them are promoting their program. I'm just one person (satisfied customer in one instance, much like yourself) offering up some alternatives to your suggestion. I didn't see Tanker posting this thread, so I don't see the big deal. Unless you're getting a free copy for making this thread. :1orglaugh

Anyone shopping for this sort of product and not checking into the alternatives would be doing themselves a big disservice.

i haven't got around to getting woj to update the flash tool yet, he will add the rotating flash options in the next update.

the beauty is you can own everything outright for 750.00 installed

some design skills are helpful, or u can pay a designer to make it look pretty. shouldn't be much, maybe a few hundies

i paid a lot more because some of the tools i had him make custom for me in the beginning

Some of his stuff is Elite, like the custom thumbnail generator. (any size hosted thumbnail on the fly built into the gallery manager. as well as the POTD. Elite stuff :thumbsup

from everything I know about you you're mid sized.

you can afford a lot more and custom stuff

but there is something HUGE to be said for standardization.......

case in point - I couldn't find everything......
