I am Denys Defrancesco the CEO of ddfprod.com. I am sounding the alarm bells before its too late, as in less than two years our businesses will be dead because of who? Because of what?

It is our fault, we have created the largest freely available pornographic content on the planet, so why pay to see our content?

For 12 years I have created promotion material there are free galleries, porn tubes, exchanging content with the 'share' sites , Google or Yahoo group etc. .. Due to our affiliates consumption who always demand more and more (we are currently killing the goose that lays golden egg ). By giving our surfers uncensored content we've created the largest free site of all time. Put end to end all the free sites of affiliates, all free galleries, all trailers? online, can you imagine the length of a film or style.



CHANGE YOUR HABITS IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO EARN YOUR LIFE IN THE ADULT INDUSTRY- AND MAKE MONEY AGAIN!



We could fix this with a little discipline, believe me, and start to censor your free galleries, restore the desire to see more by accessing the member?s area of your sites.

The golden age could return and there is enough space for everyone, lets clean up the Net together. I am aware that this will not happen overnight but I everybody?s responsibility to begin to censor their new galleries (put only soft content) and remove from your servers the old hardcore galleries, the affiliates must reduce their archives, BELIEVE me you will not lose your traffic, you'll just "boost" your income.

Good idea in theory, but you'll never get everyone to scale back and censor their hardcore. As soon as three people do it, a fourth sees striking opportunity and busts out the hardcore again to gain an edge. There's no way to get everyone to comply, and no way to enforce. :2 cents:

1) if you try to prevent hardcore from getting out, someone else will come along and use it.

Only Rapidshare sites are not, so this type will remain a problem.

Sadly you're right. There will always be people who give away all they can, to get affiliates to send traffic. What ever the ratio, they will just give away more to get more traffic that does not buy. And if they do, so will everyone else. Start a thread asking for 6 minute hosted Tube clips and see how many jump into line.

The industry will not recover after the recession. Most of those who stopped buying, will not come back.

The industry will not recover if by some act of God all pirated content is taken down. Some sponsors will supply what ever the big Tubes ask for.

The only way for the industry to recover is to win back customers. Mostly we sell a product, at a price, the customer rejects. All the talk about what the customer wants from sponsors and affiliates is BS. If it were true the customer would still be buying.

But what the heck this industry has been kidding itself for years even when it was obvious it could only survive if the customer had no options.

The ONLY viable way to ACTUALLY prevent content from getting out to people is to STOP SELLING OR GIVING IT TO ANYONE WITH A CREDIT CARD. hah. How hard was that?

You have to follow the times... there are PLENTY of opportunities out there and PLENTY of ways to capitalize on the new pornscape...

This type of thing happens in just about every market in some way or another.

lol, if every person that read this post got rid of his bulk free content on all his sites, there would still be 99.5% of the free porn sites running the same amount of free shit.

If 900,000 of the porn sites went back to not showing pussy on free areas, the 900,001st would and they would get 90% of the porn traffic very quickly.

Adapt or die trying, cause trying to get people to pull down free content won't work at all.

You are right, it is not, but it is a futile task. You may get one thing taken down but there are one thousand more to take its place. Deny is correct, only 10 years too late. Explicit TGPs started the downhill tumble but broadband and the rise of the fileshareing networks like Rapidshare, HotFile, etc were the nail in the coffin. And Tubes blew the coffin up entirely.

I find it ironic that for all their attempts, the religous right and the government won't be the ones that take down pornography. It will be porn itself, coupled with the insatiable appetite for free content that broadband and the tubes enables.

I'll forward this to my competitor who is building a free site of some sort nearly every day.

tgp2 worked well hit to profit wise.

Move your content/sales ability to various technologies and stay on new technology as it happens.... porn is every changing and every moving, it has always been that way.

Mobile is one example, already mobile porn can easily out sell the standard Internet porn sites and it's growing at a rates that exceed the original Internet growth. With only 5% of the traffic market, it's able to easily out produce the normal 'net sales - that's remarkable. Yes, that requires you actually sell the mobile porn to affiliates - something 99% of the companies don't actually do with the normal sites they have.

This doesn't mean ignore the normal Internet, we shouldn't ignore any medium we can cheaply move onto. But it does mean the business is changing again, much like it did in the mid 90's to the 2000 range - which killed most of the mainstream porn companies because they didn't move with the technology.

Of course they blamed piracy and free porn online back then too, people can get our stuff to easy, blah blah blah... suckers!

I don't know what you're talking about I'm still getting my affiliate checks, I just have to work harder at it.
